This Disaster was Post-Apocalyptic | Satisfying Backyard Makeover | Part 1

This backyard was in dire need of some tender loving care! It looked as if it hadn't been maintained in years, was very overgrown, neglected and a real mess. We were tasked with the restoration of the entire backyard and the front yard (the front wasn't bad though). As you can see, the transformation was a big job and took the best part of 8 hours to complete. We took out about 3 full loads of rubbish and green waste to the waste disposal site (the tip). On this episode you will see mowing, pruning, rubbish removal and hopefully satisfying hard work. Just to give you guys an idea of how much work goes into these videos, the actual job took around 8 hours and the editing/uploading took over 8 hours!. This is part 1 of 2.

Q: Do you worry about snakes?
A: I have never even seen a snake in 4 years on the job.

A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.
Q: How much do the jobs cost?

Q: What happened to Nick?
A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

I'm certain that little lady who was going into the house will be so appreciative of a job well done. When we age and the body won't let us keep up the yard any longer it weighs heavy on the heart. This should be a wonderful lift in spirit for the ones who live there. Access to the back door again...having a back yard again. Bless you for all your hard work.

Yes! I'm 58 now, 3 back surgeries in two years, I've had one shoulder surgery and the other shoulder will get it's tune up next. I'm fallin apart, and being an avid gardener almost all my life, it kills me to not be able to do what I used to. I'm sure the home owner is over joyed at the work he's done. Just going up the stairs without that huge tree clogging up the workd is priceless! He's a gem! 💛🖤💛

Hallo guys great job as always. Love the lawnmower hiding behind the tree. Some advise if you want. It. I saw this other guy.. Josh lawn service. He will load his traler. When its FULL. He climb in and cut it down with a chainsaw. Lots of space. It's expansive to drive up and down to the dump. That way he gets to load much more. Try it. Maybe. Karima South Africa

The residents are likely getting a sense of now living in someone else's house!---I have 3 gigantic cotoneasters that the birds left me many years ago. I occasionally trim them to keep away from pedestrians, and my roof. Twice a year the cedar waxwings migrate through and stop over to eat the berries. The seeds get pooped out, makes a mess on my sidewalk, can't imagine how many will sprout again in the yard, but haven't noticed any freebies yet!---Love your sense of humor George!
