As far as I know, in Germany Rottweiler, Dobermann and Pitbull are told to cause more deadly attacks on humans each than German Sheperds. I totally agree. It angers me that the breed gets such a bad rap in several countries that label them as "dangerous" and even outright ban them. That's pure ignorance resulting from too many pitbull owners who shouldn't be allowed to own dogs of ANY kind. Obviously the average pitbull is a solid powerful dog. Yet a riled up Malinois or Dutch Shepherd is potentially far more dangerous than the average pitbull, but nobody seems to see a need to ban them.

I was walking home from a friends house in Pioneer, CA, walking down a road before going off road... when out of a house came a GIANT dog running at me. Another friend had a Great Dane, and this dog was easily as tall but probably weighed a good 50 pounds more. I was about 10, and this dog scared the shit out of me, more than the neighbors up on the hill with their dobermans. This dog coming at me was a mix of rottweiler and doberman I was told, and I thought, "Why am I not dead? I should have been ragdolled with body parts littered all over the street???" Turns out this dog was the nicest, goofiest dog you will ever meet, lol. :D

Dogs don't "become" aggressive. It's deranged owners who MAKE them aggressive because so many nitwits out there seem to derive their manhood from the muscles on their dogs. That picture of the guy trying to control a dog with massive chains hanging off its neck is a prime example of the insanity that seems to grip a small number of people who shouldn't be allowed within a mile of ANY dog. I am 83 years old and have had dogs literally all my life. I've had American pitbulls and as far as I am concerned, they were the easiest dogs to have around. They're a wonderfully balanced breed. I love Dutch Shepherds, too, and yet some people can't handle them and should stay away from them. It's as simple as that. I don't believe in "dangerous" breeds. Dangerously clueless owners worry me more. Horses can be dangerous, too. You don't treat them right, they're likely to try to kick your head in.

rase dosent matter, i have 1 german shepard, 1 rottweiler and 1 bull mastiff and i have 2 Kids, 4 and 7 years and i am the dogs because the did what i teach them and when the do a mistake it is my fault, greetings from Germany )))
