This dome is made of waste

Prof. Catherine De Wolf conducts research on how to shift the construction industry towards a more circular economy. With her research group, she recently completed a hands-on project to illustrate and teach the students how this could work on a real structure. The dome has been disassembled and re-assembled for several use cases: a meeting room for a city hall, a radio and TV-station, a classroom, and exhibition space, and a greenhouse. The film was made by Nicole Davidson for ETH Communication.
