YarizardX here. Thanks for the commentary! These battles were all recorded in 1 day and I've since then climbed to 3389 ELO and the Halloween Cup Meta has shifted slightly. For any of y'all who want to try this team as well, do be careful if you encounter many Azumarill in your ELO range. You might even want to run Gunk Shot instead of Outrage. Ps. Sorry for disrespecting the Goat🙏.

Regarding Greninja's potential "overhyped status" at 16:20 Dan Ottowa pretty much makes the claim that Greninja is overhyped. And for the most part, I take what he says as gospel. But he's wrong on Greninja. You can sweep entire teams with Greninja even if you're throwing neutral or even resisted charge moves. Given the right set up, it's so000oO good. I've noticed similar patterns with my Poliwrath in the Ultra league; no, it's not the most amazing Pokemon. But if you get it into the right position, you'll easily sweep an entire team with it

Call it a hot take or whatever you want because of PvPoke but I definitely thing bastiodon is far better than Carbink lol

Carbink is better because it's a much more flexible pokemon than bastiodon. It can threaten medicham and beat deoxys. It hard walls sableye. It has terrible matchups against steelix and registeel but bastiodon is also terrible in those. Bastiodon is better into grass but that's not as valuable as the advantages I've mentioned. Also fairy rock is a better typing in the current meta game than rock steel. Also carbink has better charge moves and their fast move is about the same.
