This DS Lite needs a new screen | Fix your top screen test

Oh boy. The DS series are one things that scare me to play around with. I had to replace the battery in a New 2DS XL, and that was a pain in the ass. Whomever at Nintendo decided that the battery needed to be glued in to that very tight battery box needs a swift kick in the nuts. The hinge is what really scares me, though.

Yeah DS Lites suck to repair, re-shell but I love the challenge. I did an entire re-shell for a DSiXL and it was actually easier to do than the DS Lites I've done over the years.

I think i got a clear red lite shell and it had some weirdness not present in most of the other lite shells I've seen. Screen covers were slightly incorrect size and bottom screen bezel had one layer as oart of the shell rathee than being a separate screen border. Overall quality and feel was nice tho

Do you mean the eXtremrate shell or another brand? I like the solid shells mostly but maybe I should see if they have clear ones to try out.

My DSi has a problem where it doesn’t turn on. It charges and the orange LED turns on when I plug it in, but it just doesn’t turn on. I tried replacing the battery, but that didn’t work. Don’t know what else to do.
