The MoonCool MC3 AWD is a dual motor electric bike that claims to get 45 miles of range on it's single frame integrated battery, but if that's not enough mileage for you there's a simple way to connect a second battery to double your range. In this video we'll examine the style and performance of the MoonCool MC3 AWD so you can decide if this ebike is for you. The MoonCool MC3 AWD electric bike is powered with two 500w nominal power motors and claims to be able to squeak out 45 miles of range with it's single battery, but there is an ultra easy way to attach a second battery to get even more range.. The listed top speed is 20 mph but in this video I discover it can actually be tinkered with and go a bit faster. I ordered this bike as my first e-bike. The dual motors sold me because I’ll be riding this bike like a trail bike. Used for off roads and hunting trips. I’ve seen good reviews from people that ACTUALLY own the bike, and a lot of seemingly unwarranted negative reviews from people that have never had experience with it. I also got the spare battery, so the range should be amazing.

Great review, actually bought the Philodo h8 recently and can't wait to get it. Needed something to commute to work in a hilly area and the awd will help with that. Was looking at some of the others that had a similar look like the keteles k800 pro or the smlro v3 but ultimately decided on Philodo mostly because of your review and papablueshirts videos on it. The Amyet S8 just came out with dual 1k motors, dual hydraulic suspension, brake light, turn signals, 25ah battery, goes 38mph and costs 1300$.....and it's a sexy bike. Check it out brother!

i would check your controllers if i were you and see whats printed on them. They probably peak at 1000 watts but run at 750. i would open up your battery and look at what is printed on the cells inside and count the cells in parallel also.

@@Timbodacious Amyet is known for releasing their bikes fully unlocked..why I like the brand..they don't mess around. Their G60 single 1k motor(1500k peak) hits 33mph out of the box..

@@dixienormis3614 Hey Dixie, I think they batch them when they have them made in China. They are very popular and sell out so they do batch orders. Mine says it will be sometime in January, however, it seems that blue is the most popular color and I ordered a green one. I am not expecting it before March. That’s the bad news. The good news is that they seem to constantly be upgrading and updating features and specifications, all for the better. The longer it takes, the more recent upgrades I will receive. I am very optimistic. These guys are really reputable fellas from Chicagoland.

Maybe Mooncool can use that in their marketing literature "Need to get away from a stinking dead seal in the sand from a dead stop? We can do it, can YOUR bike do it? Im considering a dual motor ebike just because Ive may trails to ride here on the property & miles of logging roads. ive a 750 watt Step thru thats good on roads, but not the best hill climber going slow. the front chain ring looks to be good on the mc3 as I want to climb. as for the rear cassette (?) have you changed one out on this ebike? or know someone that might have? my thought is to get an 11 - 34 or so rear cassette if possible. my other ebikes are 7 spd also and fine for what they are. maybe Id like to add a trail & hill climber that I can mod the rear cassette & likely a different derailleur & shifter.

I can only speak for Juiced bikes, I bought six of them since 2018... One has 11,000 mi, another has 8,000 and another 6,500... I have well over 30,000 mi I've ridden... The only problem besides changing tires is that one of the bikes gears stripped because they were plastic but overall zero problems

Question bro. My new bike battery is 15 whatever ya call the battery total amount I want to go for longer can I drive it until the battery is down low like 20 percent excetra. So far I can’t bring myself to drive it down below 50 ish percent. I’m afraid of the battery having issues. Can I use more of the battery and is it safe to suck the batt dry while using it. Yes it's safe. The BMS in your battery takes care of everything and would cut all power before you ran the battery down enough to cause actual damage.

The controller should cut it off once its to dead and still be safe for the battery. If controller is programmed right which it should be. Like it should be dummy proof for people who don't think or know about running them down to low. and 0% isnt zero volts because it really only % of usable range.

The BMS ( battery management system ) will protect your battery, you can drop down to 5% and still have plenty left in the battery to protect it, just not usable power, it's also good to ride the bike till the battery cuts off every now and then so don't worry about the battery, just ride the bike like it's meant to be ridden.

Changing the wheel size doesn't actually increase the top speed, it only shows faster but you're not going any faster, apart from that another sunny review in GTA V 🤣

The idea on wheel size is to make is show slower and if its mph limited the limit would still be the same but you are actually going faster then the controller is thinking.

@@rabbithomesteading3797 I have the Cyrusher Kommoda with 20" fat tyres, if I set the wheel size to 20" the bike shows 22mph, the GPS will also show 22mph, if inset the wheel size to 23" the bike shows 26mph, the GPS shows 22mph, the wheel setting is just to calibrate the speed to the GPS and will not make the bike go any faster.

So the Kommoda is not speed limited but maybe just power limiting and dont matter thats all it can go? Or do you think its limited by something else. other the speed? I drive a 2022 big rig (semi) with 600hp. It is faster and stronger then anything else I drove. But when I am empty its seems slower. Empty it feels so sluggish. I believe there is a throttle ramp up speed set up in the computer. Like even if floored it only allows certain RPM increase per second. So empty should go faster but the rpm per second increase limiter keeps it slow. and when loaded Im loaded so much I dont hit the limit? IDK its weird hope that make sense. Faster loaded then my other loaded trucks but slower when I am empty compared to other trucks I drove. And get in a old mechanical semi the are super throttle sensitive compared to computer controlled ones. lol @@Old_Man_Pete
