I feel like it wasn't the fart aspect of the humor that Steph didn't like, but instead the shaming part of them laughing. As a woman, men often say things that make me self-conscience about the stupidest, most normal things ever. The bubbles are just air coming out of the swimsuit, but the men acted like Steph should have done something to stop it from happening. Like they thought it was gross.

Plenty of other people made this point already, but I think the fart jokes weren't actually what made Steph irritated and annoyed. Most likely it was the fact that due to the boys focusing in on her crotch, the production crew followed suit (i.e. weird camera zoom in on her crotch). It's bad enough to have a group of boys point at your hoohaa and laugh, but several cameramen trying to get a good enough shot of your crotch (for editors), a whole crew of people (probably) making weird looks since this is the 2000s, and the knowledge that whatever footage of your crotch they got is 100% not in your control? For anyone it'd be stressful enough to get them PISSED.

I always wondered if anyone on dating shows, ever didn't like ANY of the "suiters" chosen for them for the get go; then immediately is like "I'm out." Or if they would stick it out for the clout and/or money. A lot of times when I watch a dating show that has one woman picking between multiple men, I sometimes think to myself "Wouldn't date any of them," right off the bat. Not saying they aren't good enough or some stupid crap like that. It's just sometimes they pick the WORST people. Not just looks, like personality, and you know morals lol. It's like they didn't even bother asking the "picker" what characteristics, and/or traits they are attracted to. Sometimes, they may ask, but then choose the complete opposite. They seem to do this way more often when it's a woman as the "picker." Really makes you wonder if they do it for shiits and giggles. They seem to like to watch the woman be berated, and man handled by men some (if not all) she isn't even attracted to, to make the show more entertaining. For the men, they will pick the most (according to society) hot women, and make it all based around male viewers getting their rocks off watching all these attractive girls throw themselves at the man. Now I know I shouldn't expect much from a dating show, especially if it's on MTV lol; however, they really seem to only care about the craziest, or most attractive people. They don't give a flying f about finding love for the person. They want to entertain people in the worst type of way, while we all happily oblige lol. I am not talking down about anyone who watches either. I 100% have watched MANY dating shows, and thoroughly enjoy almost every single one of them lol. This was just some thoughts I wanted to share, and it turned into being (as usual) way too freaking long. No one is going to read this. Especially being on a video from 2 years ago that has over 10k comments. Why I do this to myself I don't know lol. Well, maybe some day, or year, someone will read this, and find it semi-interesting, and reply to me with their thoughts. You know I always wanted to make a KZbin channel. I for one love to talk, and I for 2 have way too many thoughts and opinions. I always wanted to share those opinions by maybe doing reaction videos like Kurtis, and see if there are people out there who think the same way as I do, or who just like how I think. In my personal life, pretty alone lol. I have always been a one or 2 very close friend type of person. Anyway, I don't expect anyone to care about this, just an outlet to be able to talk, bcuz in my mind there is at least a *chance* tht someone will read and reply.☺
@ItsLeah43 Жыл бұрын

20 years later Pete is at a bar. He’s drinking alone. He’s been there for most of the night, unsure what tomorrow brings. Pete’s boss has just fired him because the drinking got bad again. What will he do now? It’s been 20 years, and the last time he has someone to rely on was the first day of the show. He thinks back to that time often. Suddenly, a voice approach’s from behind, “Is this seat taken?” Pete doesn’t even turn around before answering, “No, go ahead.” The voice takes their seat. After a couple hours of cracking up and buying each other drinks, Pete confesses, “This is the best night i’ve had in 20 years” It was true. Pete hadn’t been happy since the show. “Really?” the voice sympathies, “Me too honestly. It’s kind of silly, but once I was on a show” the voice cuts off. Pete suddenly looks up from his glass. Could it be? He slowly looks over, and surly enough it’s true. The locksmith sits there wide eyed. “Hi Pete. I’ve missed you.” The lock eyes and begin passionately kissing. “Let’s get out of here” The rest is history.
