Honestly Kristin...the way you were mixing your cake mix batters by hand...is actually a better method. Using an electric mixer tends to over beat cake mix batter...which makes cakes tough because the gluten from the flour in the cake mixes get activated. Mixing box cake batters by hand produces a more tender cake. Thanks for another great cake hack!!! 🍰❤

When I finally got an electric mixer, I couldn't argue with the end results. The air incorporated when beating and smoothness just couldn't be matched by any amount of arm power. This looks amazing, I'm going to try it tonight❤.

A quick suggestion on the mixer, if you put it on low (slowest) an hold over the cake mix it will come off the beaters easier, I enjoy watching how real you are makes my day, you a beautiful young lady who doesn't mind help from your fans! Be sure to unplug your mixer before taking the mixing attachment off. My Grandmother didn't unplug her mixer before and got her fingers caught when trying to remove it. Broke a couple.
