There are some incredible tees out there but I reckon I’ll struggle to beat this one for a while. What I didn’t mention was this was found towards the end of a car boot so I guess anything’s possible.

I'm getting the same feeling as you about Vinted, best flip is £60 on some nike trainers but I think that was extremely lucky. I've bought A LOT from vinted but quality when arrived is not good and like you said buying for £8-£13 for £22-£30 sale over some time isn't great. I'm working full time and the charity shops for me are 1. Over priced or no stock 2. Closed by time I finish work so Vinted is my only source at the moment, keep hoping for a few more £50+ flips. Managed to snipe another two pairs of Nike Flyknit trainers low and high top which brand new are going for like £150-£250 and I picked them up for under £10 but they do need a good clean but I'm fairly decent at shoe cleaning so I'm hoping for a good profit and quick sale on them if I undercut a bit

There are definitely still bargains on there but they’re sure becoming more difficult to acquire. As a sourcing tool it can be worthwhile for sure, I guess I’m fortunate that I can visit more reasonably priced charity shops without too long of a drive. But the condition issues was what really put me off. It’s that difficult situation of, if I ask for more photos they’ll have probably sold in the time between, but buying them does come with that condition risk. Bring on car boots I say!

iv a question, you kno ebay fees (i kno nout bout the fees) the Dunlops that took a year to sell, does ebay charge u fees like a one off fee or on like a monthly basis, as in, cuz the Dunlops took a yr to sell, the profit gets considerably eaten up by like a monthly selling fee? or something? i just duno how the ebay fees wrk. Iv sold few bits on ebay, and they just took a big wack of money off me, but i wasnt sure what exactly it was for? like a fees breakdown.......

It’s 12p per 30 days listing fee. eBay will try and kid you that you get 250 free listings per month with a basic shop subscription, but it’s £30 a month, which funnily enough works out at 12p a listing! So yes, technically they owe me about £1.50 in insertion fees but I try not to think about that too much and hope things take far less time than that to sell!

The Saturday car boot isn't going to be on anymore
@Planet_Passey7 ай бұрын
Edit! I’ve just seen the Facebook post, man that’s a real shame as it did tend to have different sellers to the Sunday one. Oh well, I guess it’s just the one then.

@@Planet_Passey I was planning on going to the Saturday one as I've never been to it, won't be going now, exeter racecourse on is on Sunday afternoon, it's a bit expensive for early buyers £8, but you can go in from 10am when all the sellers go in,

@@juliemotey2052 yeah I’m not a fan of the racecourse one, it’s too late in the day for me, splits the day right in two and you’ve got EVERYONE descending on the site. The early entry nonsense doesn’t sit well with me either, still competing with a lot of other resellers, so I doubt I’ll be going very often. 😅
