Fact is there has been no economic growth in this country since 2008, the growth the government talks about is driven purely by immigration and even that is not in line with the numbers coming in which is why we pay more and more in tax and get less and less in services and infrastructure. Nothing works in the UK any more yet we have the highest taxes since just after we came out of a world war and had to rebuild everything.

Its a joke, inflation is based on the “consumer basket of goods”. All that happens is core necessities like food, shelter, housing, clothing continue to increase in price and non essentials decrease in price as demand drops for the, new furniture and restaurants are the first thing people cut out when money gets tight. You new to look at the basket of goods weighings, see what people are spending their money on, else its all garbage figures.
