Another great video. I don't normally carry an edc bag but this looks very functional. I wish there was a handle on the side of the bag to give it an option on how to hand carry it.

I saw a guy cobra knot some paracord and attach it to the D rings as a carrying handle. I was thinking about doing the same and would solve your problem too

Just like we’ve reached Peak Smart phone , I am pretty sure we’ve also reached peak edc pouch. I don’t know that there’s really anything new that they can add to these things. Once you have like five of them, you’re not gonna be tempted to buy a new one unless they come out with something really unique.

The absolute PILE of pouches that I have accumulated would suggest that, at least for obsessive types like me, that’s not the case ;-)

I would definitely point my phone screen away from the inside because of the knives and flashlight, etc. Even though there is a divider if you dropped it correctly, and your screen was nailed by the edge of one of those tools even through that thin layer it’s probably gonna crack your screen. So it would be wise to face the screentoward the outside of the pouch. That’s what I would do anyways. I noticed that’s not what he did, but this is just an example and I don’t think he was really thinking about it too much.

with all the elastic loops in the middle the bag will be fat around the middle if you load it up

Agree. The two sides of that compartment also smash against each other, if you put nice metal things in it, they are going to scratch each other. It’s the thinner compartment, better for cables and adapters, IMHO.
