This Elite Controller Setting Will Improve Your Aim (Elite Stick Settings)

The xbox one Elite Controller has many different settings that you can customize, but most players don't take advantage of the different analog stick settings you can use. Most games have aim acceleration and I think the Instant stick setting on the elite controller can help combat that. If you want to improve your aim in any shooter I would suggest trying out this stick setting. Improving your aim in Fortnite will take more than just this setting but I think this setting give you much more control and will lead to more consistent aim overtime.

You are a godsend my friend! Just picked up an elite controller and was having a ton of trouble all week getting my sight exactly where I wanted it. I play Apex and as soon as I changed my right stick to instant on the lowest setting, I blew through my drills in the shooting range even better than my old controller! Feels very natural and smooth; aim small, miss small!

I feel like with the elite controller the thumbsticks don't have enough tension/resistance so fine aim seems more difficult to me than on a regular controller.

If you use the elite 2 controller, you can adjust the thumstick tension. I have mines as the most tense in order to try to replicate the xbox 360 controller feel.

Subbed, I've said this ever since I got one. Instant is by far the best for FN. Smooth is okay but definitely feels limited to a more calculated playstyle (no flicks or aim acceleration, but INSANE gliding/long range shots). It's preference, sort of, but instant removes the most input lag by far. Personally i have instant on the RS and aggressive turned up high on LS, I've toyed with everything and these seem to be overall the most beneficial and flexible. Long as people keep buying those cheap $60 hunks of plastic that break every two months, elite and claw players stay on top lmao. No elite/claw=easy 3-0 the majority of the time for me. Hope this comment helps anyone considering getting an Elite

Like I said, it comes down to preference for a game like FN, but raising the radial calc seems to have more upside, reducing that nasty input lag all consoles have that I was talking about. It does obviously make your stick more sensitive so I would turn it up slowly. Personally, I haven't adjusted the RS since I played low sens when i was growing up on games like COD, etc.

Was playing with aggr right and instant left +vice versa and I'm ocd and a perfectionist so this whole process is absolutely whooping my behind quarters 😂😂😂😂 looking like Jim carry beating himself up in the bathroom scene in the movie liar liar. I feel like these sensitivity curves that improve your aim won’t be good for games where there is quite a few guns you have to switch between, like rainbow six and apex legends. But for games like overwatch where you can just main one gun/hero this will be good

There’s a lot of new settings now advanced. And the Aim assist definitely changed I believe it was a glitch but still doesn’t feel 100% maybe 90. The elite controllers pull very fast the magnet and weight plays a roll in this personally I have way better aim with any regular controller. But I’m still playing around in my settings I’ve only had a Xbox elite for a week I’m not the expert lol. But I can tell you this turn your hud scale as low as you can handle it and that alone will help you with accuracy more than anything you will have perfect aim in close range not missing a single shot gun shot or smg shot ripping head shots it’s OP! Mine is 80 right now but I will try this out if it improves aim I’m sold! Thanks

Lexah damn it must be hot or miss I’ve had mine for 5 months now and it’s fine. The little rubber covers on the parts that lock the triggers came off but other then that no problems but I’ve heard the same from other people. Do you use the scuff or just a regular controller now?

Would you mind sharing your warzone in game controller settings, horizontal/vertical sensitivity and ADS percentages? Instant does seem very loose to me, with a lot of over steering, especially with long engagements. Wondering if in game settings have an effect. Also I feel changes after game updates, is it possible the updates affect aiming? Liked instant until an update, then default, now smooth seems best. I use 8/8 horizontal/vertical and .90 for ADS

I use default for Warzone. I used instant for Fortnite but what is important aim wise in Fortnite is very different than warzone.

Now try AGGRESSIVE LOL after you have been playing instant and go to aggressive it’s pretty much unfair. Try it on both at default setting on aggressive. Please comment if this helps

I have no idea about fortnight but in modern warfare the tactical sprint worked for me last I tried it. I'm trying to figure out why sniping in battlefield and wildlands feels so wrong since I got my elite 2 controller about 3 years ago.

The Elite Controller has different profiles. Make sure you are playing on the same profile that you were editing on the xbox accessories app.

Its for combating slow turn. Test moving your analog stick without it If you can hit the outer ring on the display without radial dont use it if it doesnt hit the entire outer ring then turn it on. That's my understanding of it at least.

I play Warzone and just got this controller. I notice the right stick is slightly loose in it's center position. When I switch to instant at the lowest setting I noticed stick drift because of it. I have to increase my in game dead zone to eliminate it. Not sure if this is counterproductive. I've read this is a common issue with this controller (right stick loose in center position). Thats on you to control the recoil. This can help but at the end of the day its on you to pull down on your stick to counter the recoil or shoot the gun in a way to control recoil.

thats not a controller issue. its a you problem. it comes down to how u fire your gun. u can adjust your aim to compensate for the recoil or adjust how long u hold the trigger for.
