Yes, he writes his stuff. He actually started as a writer and his wife encouraged him to move into singing. Thank goodness. If you love this song, check out “Either Way”. Extremely moving.❤️

He was a songwriter for other people for 14 years before he recorded his own album Traveller in 2015, which won a Grammy, he writes most of own songs. He has written over 200 songs recorded by other artists. Chris & Morgane (she is a songwriter too) talent has got to influence their 5 kids

I believe WE ALL need to see him live! Once it's over the people who didn't get to see him will never get that chance! For myself, there are many artists i didn't go see when I had the chance (Prince for example or M.J.)😢 BUT CHRIS STAPLETON, I HAVE TO SEE HIM LIVE!! HE'S A LIVING LEDGEND!!! SO SEE HIM WHILE YOU CAN❤❤❤

@DeDoeWorldLive great reaction fren. You’re doing an awesome job with your channel! To answer your question, yes Chris writes his own songs. He’s 1 of the few great all around artists out there. You should look up the list of people he’s written songs for prior to going out on his own. He’s very smart because he keeps the rights to his songs so he can perform them himself (and sing them better lol). Thanks fren. More live Chris (except u should react to the official video of “Death Row” best 1 I can find full version of)! Thanks

Coming in while there still aren’t very many comments … 1) you’re killing it on the channel. Keep going! :) 2) bro you gotta get batteries for your damn fire alarm hahaha. It sucks to hear that chirp in my headphones when I’m trying to relax. AA batteries. Come on. I liked your video. I sub’d. Go get some dang batteries

It’s honestly so distracting. It’s creating the REVERSE Pavlovian habit that you’re trying to build … I think I might be less likely to click your videos because I know I’ll have to hear that damn chirp every 30 seconds.

I had to click away. It was too annoying. I’ll check back for new videos soon. Good luck!

Tennessee Whiskey is a cover. I know it was recorded by George Jones . It was written in 1981 by Dean Dillon and Linda Hargrove. David Allen Coe recorded it first in ‘81 and Jones in ‘83. 💜👵🏼✌🏼
