THIS ENDURO RACE IS TOUGHER THAN EVER

We're back at Trans Madeira for day one of racing! I love racing enduro, and it's Trans Madeira that made me move from Downhill to Enduro racing - the tracks on the island are super diverse - some rough tracks, some steep tracks, but all of them are brilliant. We had mixed weather, and the wet tracks were wild! Enjoy - it's going to be a long week!

Loving the content Jono! I am about to head up to Canada to race the Trans BC for the first time and I am trying to choose what bike to take. It's between my 180/170 29er, which is fast and smooth but isn't great in the tight, twisty stuff, and my 170/160 mullet, which is a little less fast but is easier to control in the tight stuff. I guess it comes down to which is most valuable in these week-long day blind enduro races - speed or control. Given your depth of experience, I would really appreciate any advice you (or others) would be willing to share. Cheers!

First of all: I love your Videos! But as a newbie in MTB sports - only since 2 years and I am 58 ;-) - What is the reason to take off the lenses/glasses of the goggle? But not taking of the whole goggle off? Only to wear them for the sponsors or to protect the nose, maybe?

I like to keep the goggle frame on because it holds the helmet in place especially over rough sections! Also it’s easy to pop the lens in a pocket / bag but the goggles are bulkier :-)
