Kevin is my favourite. He does what you said to help lower the other offers BUT Ive also never heard him pressure someone to take a deal without listening to the other sharks. Sometimes Lori and Mark do that and basically force the person to take their offer and wont let them see if there are any other sharks interested. Kevin NEVER does that

I don't think he anticipated any of this outcome. He was just trying to compensate his lost with these remarks. If anything him being stuck at 20% would have put the pitcher in better position to negotiate for 20 with daymond and also daymond would have been more pressured. I just think he raised the percentage out of greed.

While the deals are real, the talks are edited down from an hour or so to ten minutes, and the producers occasionally prompt them to do things like recap the current offers or ask a certain question. I believe Kevin is pseudo-positioned as the 'supervisor' of the room, so he often gets the order to keep things going
