When I was homeless at 15 I was living with refugees from Afghanistan and I lived with them during Ramadan, they had nothing to eat or drink for the whole day and in the evening when they had their one plate of food they made me a plate from the food they had on their plate. I will be forever thankful to them. They risked everything, because when you are 15 and homeless police will look for you to put you in orphanages, but at this time they still tried to put me back into my abusive foster family. No one from my friends' parents was ready to help, they all feared the police. In the end, they could have said he is with us and he can stay with us, but they did not want this. I am not holding a grudge against them, I know I was never part of their family. But these Afghan people risked a lot so I don't have to sleep outside during winter. And they fed me. They risked it all for me

It's people who have suffered the most in life are the most generous and kind because they know how it feels to be hungry, or to go through rough time, it's the people who have seen other people suffer in their country, city, village..etc and they wouldn't want anyone else to feel that way, they value not only theirs but others life as well...they're the most beautiful people with humanity..may god bless this women and her family in this life and after 🤲🏻
