That was a perfect example of my level of bashing. My Fireteam is made for it. Not Talbot extreme but for "normal" extreme bashing like this it's near indestructible. Earplugs in the center diff and pop on the high speed pinion and it's an animal. Railings and bad landings will break anything eventually but i agree that bumper shouldn't have broke and usually you'd expect a wing to break around the mount rather than split in the middle like that.

I own an XTR and I powered it with a spectrum 2050kv motor and esc that was taken out of some arrma product when the new owner went with a 8S setup. I paid less than $100 for the motor, 150amp esc and a 25kg hexfly servo. I put the stock wheels on the shelf and put backflips on Mr. Kronos. They are the BEST wheels/tires for the XTR PERIOD. They do an 0 admirable job of dealing with the insane amount of torque the 4 pole motor deals out effortlessly at any rpm. No traction rolls and get the steering rate just right and it has perfectly neutral handling. This thing is so ridiculously over powered it's just mind bending what it's capable of. It says " Push your limits" on the wing and that is not a joke. Team Corally doesn't mess around with RC's. They don't sell a slow anything to the best of my knowledge. The second time out I hit a 2.5 in thick 4 in square paving stone at well over 35MPH. It flipped on its roof and slid at least 15 to 20 yards. NO DAMAGE TO SPEAK OF. The impact was so severe it blew the shock oil right out of the rr shock!!!! The wheel wasn't cracked either. It just does everything you can think of incredibly well. I absolutely love it. Last thing, it's still totally mental on 4S as well. If you saw it run on 4S you'd swear it was on 6S. Pin the throttle after it's going about 35-40 mph and it'll light up the tires and spit rocks at you like bb's. If you have a fleet or collectíon of R/C's it's not complete without an XTR. It's a loaded weapon of an R/C.

I’m with you the Kronos stands out to me. Tomley showing the chassis I’m impressed with the engineering to be honest.

Same issues as me really, weak wing, shock stand offs, battery tray should have straps going lengthways to stop the batter flying forward, check rear chassis braces, was going to say check center brace 😂😂 sadly moist parts only available from Corally direct with EUR 20 shipping cost

Still have to say your $ ahead getting a maxx or xmaxx,when you finally try one,and with slight upgrade,can't beat them really,but,we are never on concrete
@TomleyRC2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the Maxx looks a beast… not sure on the Xmaxx… seems that they always need fixing after a big bash session
