What do you think about this follow focus?

I have an old Nikon 400mm f3.5 ais lens adapted to my gh6 for wildlife filming. With the right extension arm and focus ring gear, do you think this follow focus would work well on such a long telephoto lens?

I am not familiar with that lens. Would the follow focus be super far from you? Would that fell comfortable?

@@ThierryGibralta thank you for the reply. The focus ring is about 7 inches/180mm from the lens flange. Do you think that would that be too far for a follow focus to stay in place on the rods?
