Depends. If they don’t level up grandpa, you’re stuck waiting for the second sonar before you could sweet talk him again. So no healing if you’re running Pep Talk

Plot twist. Nobody is leveling grandpa. One family on battery one family on generator and the other bounces back and forth from fuse to valve (mainly camps fuse as valve is easily turned off with hands). You then have a stalemate of a game until the victims eventually come to one the objectives to be obliterated.

This was my starting Maria build but I barely see grampa being leveled with hands in the game so I recently switched her tree and got 32 attribute points before adding the endurance and the proficiency perks totalling +46 attribute points! I'm also running bomb squad. I'm liking it more.

For me I’ve strangely seen Grandpa actually leveled more now that the hype has died down a bit, however it heavily depends on the team comp. Its not that bad of a thing however because no Grandpa levels means you can get away with a lot of stuff
