Not on the Isle of Man you won't unless it is a smoked fish. I was there several times in the late 90s and they would publish in the Douglas Herald the crimes and punishments meted out to island folk and visitors alike. Try 14 days in jail for spitting in public, 1 month in jail for possession of 1g of Cannabis (that was reduced because the guy was a visitor from France and came forward with the drug as he thought the notice about drugs at the ferry-port was like a sort of amnesty) that sort of thing. The IoM was the last place in the UK to abolish the "Birch", the last administered birching being in 1965 to a visitor from Glasgow for being drunk and disorderly. FKW it was like in the 1930s. Yeah. After they discovered the mongoose living in the walls, and hearing the echoes, her mind just went wild. Kind of like when something scary/unexplained happens the human mind jumps to all sorts of conclusions and inflates the danger/object into something worse/more unexplainable than what happened. Some people don't have that switch in their brains that tells them that it was only their imagination, for them the danger/object merely had an alternative explanation. Like "three" is pronounced "free", "other" is pronounced "uver", etc. It's actually quite distracting considering that it can be easily fixed. I appreciate it that you are down to earth. It was her that was doing it most likely... However you said that it replied to her and wouldn't her family notice? Maybe they decided to fake it and were all in it.

"Extra clever earthbound spirit Ghost in the form of a mongoose And I have hands and I have feet I'll never die, I am a freak Hello, I'm here, I'm living in the wall I know, I might be small but I am a freak Thou wilt never know what I am I am the fifth dimension and I will split the atom And if you see me, you're paralyzed Pillar of salt, you're mummified" Soon as I read the title of the video, my mind went _straight_ to that song. Actually I have a pet ferret named “Shoyo” who does EXACTLY the same things that Gef did. Maybe Gef was reincarnated! 🤔

@@Smorgasvord Yes. SHE spoke. So evidently Gef was reincarnated as a girl. Apparently six years ago since Shoyo is six. I’m just so relieved to know where she got this weird ability to speak. Not to mention the attitude. 😂
