Neon signs are classic retro objects that speaks “future!” Out loud to me. Its colors are alluring to the point of hypnotic. I love neon signs.

I adore neon! My grandfather owned a bar and when he retired, he took the neon beer signs with him...my mom ended up getting several of them. My parents also got a HUGE Margaritaville sign as well. That one sadly broke so it needs to be repaired...but god only knows how expensive that would be. Anyways, I've always loved neon ever since I was little and I was staring at the neon beer signs in my grandparents basement lol. They really are more then just signs...they are 100% pieces of art. I'd love to get a custom made piece...but again who knows how expensive that would end up being.

Ever seen the made-for-TV movie "The Neon Ceiling"? One of my fondest childhood memories. Lee Remick and Gig Young and the little girl who played Violet Beauregard, the gum-chewing little girl who turned into a giant blueberry in the Gene Wilder classic "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Family"....I liked it not just because of the neon signs but also because the little girl got to drive a truck all alone, her character's name was the same as mine, and her mom and her dad had split up....and the music when Gig Young shows the little broken family the ceiling was fantastic.... kzbin.info/www/bejne/ap2ohZemh6efmZIsi=sKjjTIRXaw2OViq4
