Just purchased 2010 for 65.00 Canadian. They had the 2009 at half the price but I heard so much about the 2010 Vintage ...will try it tonight :-)

american oak. they make the barrels themselves. my favorite wine from la rioja. the new 2010 is still way too young. it goes for 30usd here in spain. if you like classic wines its perfect. try the tondonia white and the rosé. very interesting wines. great video! thank you!

I love the producer. Reserva 2003 vintage was delicious and also the reserva white wine too. Currently I have the 1980 Gran Reserva and 1996 white gran reserva

I only had 2 bottles of this wine and unfortunately the first one was corked :/ The second one was very good though. I was a bit surprised that the oak wasn't as strong as I expected but that didn't make the wine less enjoyable. Rioja still offers a lot of great value wines, whether I buy a 10 Euro wine or a 40 Euro wine, I almost never feel like I've overspent. If you'd like to review a wine with a different oak profile, I think the Vina Ardanza is also really good.
