@@minimum13My bookshelf includes: A Line in the Sand, From Beirut to Jerusalem, etc. Please recommend other relevant books. The horrors committed by the IDF are a direct response to the horrors committed by Hamas. I have heard Gazan men, women, and children reciting hatred that was taught to them when they were growing up. The IDF do not trust Gazans because they harbor Hamas and keep hostage captive. Over 14 million people live in Palestine/Israel, 7 million call themselves Palestinians, 7 million call themselves Jews. Yet, they are genetically 99.999% identical because they originate from the same place. Brother killing brother. Hatred begets hatred. Blood begets blood. Both sides want to live in the same place. Israel has the upper hand militarily and has a despicable ultra-right-wing government. Hamas' stated cause is the genocide of Israelis. Neither party wants peace. But, every time that extremists attack the Jewish Israeli people, Palestinians lose people and land. That's historical fact. I wish it were different. Now, more emphasis should be put on the fact that Khameini, Putin, and Xhit Jinping are funding, equipping, and training Hamas to further their own ends. This is leading to World War III. For the sake of the human race, the Palestinian and the Israeli tribes must make peace with each other. Otherwise, the extremists will continue to kill innocents and teach more hatred.

So many palestinians are killed each year by settlers, and many more are imprisoned by the so-called 'moral military' without justice. And the inhumane treatment and humiliation that they face in their everyday life. The nakba, the first intifada, the second one, and yet u expect them to love jews?

**For those who do not know;' the Al-Aqsa Mosque was built over the most important holy site for Jews in the world, The Temple of Solomon. IN the 7th century, Islam appropriated this holy site for Muslim's following the conquest and colonization of Israel from the Arabs who originated in Saudi Arabia. ** Yes, Islam is NOT native to Israel. Since, then Muslim's and now the Palestinians have denied Jews access and now HAMAS wants to make sure Jews will NEVER visit it. This is the #1 holy site for Jews! Islam is the colonizer and Islam is the one who has set up an apartheid system at the Al-Aqsa mosque. This was never about a state for Palestinians. This is a holy war for Hamas and they will never accept sharing Al-Aqsa or any part of Israel with Jews. For 3,000 years, The Temple of Solomon, a site of profound significance in Jewish history and religion, has been a focal point in the prayers and spiritual lives of Jewish people worldwide. All Jews pray facing the Temple of Solomon located in Jerusalem, due to its origins in the ancestral homeland, Israel. In the 7th century, a pivotal era in religious history, Islam emerged in the Arabian Peninsula. It was the beginning of the Islamic Conquests. Over the following centuries, Islamic empires expanded their territories significantly. They encountered regions rich in cultural and religious history. This expansion included regions of the former Christian-Roman Empire. [2] The lands conquered by Islamic empires included territories that were integral to Jewish and Christian life in parts of West Asia, Northern Africa, and the Middle East. Among the territories that came under Islamic rule was Israel In this process, several sites that were previously held sacred by these religions were APPROPRIATED into the Islamic cultural and religious framework. [1] One of the critical events in this period was the construction of the Al-Aqsa Mosque over the ruins of the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. This mosque, a site now revered in Islam, is situated over the most holy Jewish site. This process often involved transforming existing religious sites to reflect the beliefs and practices of the new ruling power. This was part of a broader pattern of forced cultural transformation that occurred as Islamic rule was established in these regions. [4] Following the Islamic conquest, the status of Jewish communities in these regions shifted. Under Islamic rule, Jewish people, like Christians, were often classified as "dhimmis," non-Muslim citizens of an Islamic state. This status came with certain protections but also imposed restrictions and special taxes not required of Muslims. [3] The Pact of ‘Umar lays out a variety of sumptuary laws, meaning laws whose ostensible purpose was to distinguish non-Muslims from Muslims in social interactions, place limits on non-Muslim behavior, and emphasize the social superiority of Muslims. As a result, Jews were no longer allowed access to the Temple of Solomon, and it was reserved only for Muslims. The issue of access for Jews to this site for prayer and worship is still denied today.
