ive been playing streets almost every day since it came out and to be honest right now bmx bastards is actually more fun. could be because Ive played streets soooo much but idk its really refreshing for some reason. love the vid as usual

Visuals are soo soothing.. (on tv) reminds me of skate3. Think a great game needs that to really last. I havent played streets so its possible that its so fun that the grayness dosent matter but in the longrun it might

Honestly tho this game looks super good visually but the actual mechanics of the game could use some more work. I noticed watching you play that when you go into a grind it kind of teleports you there or skips a frame or something but I like what they are doing with this game and can’t wait for it to be finished ✅🙂

Yeah, the grind system needs work for sure. I think what would help a lot is when I do an input for a grind, you position your bike for that grind before you land. Doing feebles and smiths looks so odd because you kind of hit the ledge and then snap into the grind position. But the game is early access, so hopefully, we can see these things get worked on, and the dev takes community feedback!

man this game starting to come along pretty well. idk if its anyone else but streets has been feeling super bland lately, like you have to fight the physics of the game in a sense to do some stuff. This game kinda looks like a breath of fresh air, this is just my opinion.

And a fine opinion it is too, I completely agree. I get serious buyer's remorse whenever I see Streets in my Steam library... I hate to be a harsh critic, but that game blows hard.

I love Mash Games but the fact that everyone seems to agree that Pipe had better spins and the fact you can do like 5 different types of manual/balance tricks but all of that is missing from streets is actually ridiculous. I really think he missed the mark hard

I'm really feeling it. I'm loving this game...I'm an action sports game fanatic though. I have every single one that's been released...Even bought Skater Mobile. lol! I've just about beaten Shaun White's skateboarding (don't recommend but you can see where RR controls originated from). Keep the vids cookin! Looking forward to street dogs too! Such a great time for action sports games

I still can't figure out why my game is stuck at 30 fps. When I first downloaded the game it was much higher. Now it acts like it is stuck in slow-mo. I have messed with every graphic setting on the game. I also meet all requirements to run it.

Im biased to bmx streets, love that game despite the controversys. However this looks awesome. If they can make thr transition into grinds look less jaring and then add some variation to the tire squeak audio id be happy with it. I cannot stand that audio. Its the same repetitive audio over and over even on surfaces that normally would not make such a high pitch squeak/ skirt. It sounds like a bird chippin in my window at 6am

Were u able to adjust the controls? I deleted bmx bastards practically 20 mins after downloading bc the controls dont make a lot of sense to me(possibly due to playing streets right before it), also those G-turns look and feel horrible imho, It’s been a good month since tho.. maybe it got some updates since then, might have to check it out again.

it feels weird at first when you come from streets but i recommend to keep playing and you will get used to it. once you get the hang of it you can do really clean stuff.

Makes me sad to see how much Mash is dropping the ball because of how in his head he is about everything being physics-based. If he doesn’t step it up, he’s going to be left in the dust by other developers.

I think he works 24/7 on it and we cant hate on him cause it dident come out perfect. If it was easier and the entire physics based stuff worked well then the time it took would be worth it and the people would be happy. If he was looking back now xx years after maby he would have taken another route.. easy to say now. But If it will work, 1-2 years from now it will become great. Hope he fixed the visuals n grayness as well

@@stefanallard3084 I think Mash just jumped the gun with how difficult his task was, I love streets but admit there is some things missing or lackluster compared to Pipe. I think towards the end he was rushing it, the expectation and demand for streets release was insane, I think the pressure got to him and it released when it wasn't ready. I hope soon enough we get some physics tuning updates in streets cause if mashbox is anything to go off, then the future of streets is looking good. I like that there is more than 1 bmx game to keep an eye on now, keeps it fresh with some light and friendly competition, like we have scoot and scooterflow as well, bmx streets and bmx bastards can co exist, neither has to be better than the other, just having multiple games to play as all we can ask for and the best outcome.
