Peak reaction dude Do know that everyone, including Death Battle, understand how weird it can be seeing Kratos win. However, they didn't nerf Asura or strengthen Kratos, they actually downplayed both a bit at worst. Death Battle has recently always used purely canon material so long as it has supporting evidence. So Kratos facing universe makers/destroyers is incredibly consistent. From there, since they didn't go down the whole dimensional scaling route (which is better to avoid for a casual audience), they just needed to do a bit of math and done. Also, quite ironic Spawn - the dude who beat Kratos back in season 1 - gets an episode right after him. ;)

So they literally slowed down Asura in his destroyer form just so they could make a reference to the Wyzen fight which led to the outcome of the whole fight? They made Asura loose to a forced reference lmao. Also, it’s so out of character for Asura who believes Kratos made Mithra cry that he would just lay there and calmly say “I was never a monster” before dying. Granted DB are the same people who said Omni man beats Bardock so honestly i shouldn’t surprised
