Of all the obscure games I’ve seen Justin play this one looks like it has some of the cleanest hit boxes, most fluid animations and nicest sprites I’ve seen.

its not obscure at all these games were common in the 80s and 90s in the arcade, you had snes games that had japan only street fighter clone games that played better then the actual street fighter snes port, i saw one where the ryu can also zangief throw

So glad Breakers Revenge is getting some love. My brother introduced this to me during quarantine and I've been playing ever since. I main Sho, but probably because I'm a Sho-to main in other fighting games.

Breakers Revenge is my ish! I found this game by accident on MAME back in early 2000, it's been one of my favorite fighters list ever since. Glad to see you giving it some love! Tia my main!

Plays fantastically. Closest you'll get to a Capcom style game on the Neo Geo. Characters are alright. Graphics are ok. Sound is pretty bad, especially Pielle (Pierre's) ear destroying voice. Overall, underrated classic.

It has a kind of flow that looks nicer to the new avaliable SFs of the time, that were A1-2. SF was only going to have a bit more mobility in the next year in SF3 (97).

I own a Neo Geo and remember playing a lot of these games back in the 90s. It was tough being a Neo Geo fan in the US because so many gamers only wanted to focus on Capcom titles and Mortal Kombat. It may be 20+ years later, but It's great to see more people finally embrace these obscure Neo Geo titles and see what they're all about. They really were a LOT of fun and very challenging!

Justin, you ever mess with Voltage Fighter: Gowcaiser? It's an old Neo Geo fighter from '95. It was somewhat popular but got mixed reviews, not sure if you think it would be worth your time. I liked it because Masami Ōbari did the character designs and I liked his art style. Doesn't look as clean as some of the other fighters you mess with but... it might be something different?

I just played this game for the first time, this week. Rila was my last match up and it took me a solid 20 trys to get her. I could not beat the boss😅 but I had a good time. A hidden gem to be sure.

I love using Tia in this game! She is a hybrid of Chun-Li, Ryu/Ken, and Bison. And best of all, I love it when I face my own mirror match in this game-mainly because the CPU A.I. mirror image of my character goes by a different name-sort of like Capcom's classic Japanese name change charade. It's a great game, and it's one of the rarest games ever to grace the SNK Neo-Geo universe. You can find this lost gem in an emulator arcade cabinet or, you can find it in SNK's 161-in-1 arcade machine, that is.. if you can find one. I highly recommend this game, although I can hardly pass the third stage, nevertheless, this game is so much fun.😁

I would love to see you tackle Time Killers. The final boss is cheap as hell and having to get him dizzy and then do the decapitation move is almost impossible. I know the game hasn’t aged well, and it kinda crappy by today’s standards but it’s a game I enjoyed as a kid.

The CPU is definitely tough, mine was Condor and his grab having massive range. Well that and also being punished 7/10 of the time, even after a few light punches after I jumped he still had enough frames for an anti-air to hit.

I think you can combo close heavy into forward forward heavy x3 and it will launch you into the air and you can cancel into his air super fireball. I can't remember exactly, have not played it in years.

This game is really fun the A.I is cheap but the overall game is really great especially the gameplay and sprites look great.
