This Filter Is The Secret Sauce for your Fujifilm Camera

It’s amazing how far modern lenses have come in terms of optical perfection. But what if you want to add a bit of character to clinical and sterile images?
In this video, I'm going to show you how I use mist filters to add a creative flair to street photography here in Seoul. We'll take a walk around Euljiro where I'll provide some sample footage to show the effects that mist filters can impart, using my Fuji X-S10.
In addition to showing examples, I'll briefly explain how mist filters work, why I enjoy experimenting with them, and provide my thought on the filter that I use - the Kenko Black Mist Filter No. 5. I also offer some tips for those of you looking to integrate these distinctive filters into their own photographic style.

I have the Kenko Black Mist Filter No.1, but I find it too strong (have 2 videos about it on my channel). The N.5 might be better tho. I often use the Tiffen Glimmer filter (which is not a black mist) because it adds character to pictures while still maintaining a subtle effect.

I've seen that the Glimmer Glass provides a different effect to the Black Mist, might also get around to trying it soon.

i use K&F 1/4 Black Mist filter and it’s totally change my photo mood, become more film like

Love this video man and I wanna see more of what you get up to in Eulijiro! Osmo footage looks incredible. I use a Tiffen Black Pro Mist filter 1/4 on my x100v and other fuji lenses because I love it so much, I do find I need to add contrast and increase the black point after but its a minor edit and worth it for the blooming :)
