Certainly seems like it. All of his ability damage comes from Bonus AD and with all of the bonus damage reduced every build feels bad unfortunately.

hes def not great rn, but is still playable the main issue atm is that all the hydras are rlly trash so u lack a ton of waveclear and get outscaled by alot of meta champs and its harder to snowball

Kled might be the worse case scenario for a damage squish patch. His *entire* playstyle is bursting you down, usually because you weren’t aware of how much damage he could do, especially when he builds lethality - he could legitimately one rotation you with just a Dirk iirc. He doesn’t win sustained fights with standard top lane champs… all of his abilities have long cooldowns. If he doesn’t kill you within the duration of his W, he’s going to lose that fight. His win condition was rolling your top laner so hard he can’t even lane and then snowballing the map before you can scale. Making items give a LOT less damage is therefore fucking terrible for Kled.

He still can do well in sidelane 1v1 but no longer run it down in team fight when you are fed. You just don't have enough damage or time to burst one down. Thus, you can still do good with bruiser style and play in sidelane, less damage from enemy also means it'll be easier to get remount before being oneshot. Ravenous hydra, might be the new core(?
