Hi When you fish that shallow is this on that pall or is the bottom slowly go to deeper water. And if it is on that pall how far out is the edge. Some one are shallow long way out. Thanks for your time filming.

Hi Robert ,isee you are using a XO wf f line.I know you use 7 rod . Do you alsouse a 7 line or do you up to an 8 line to tighten the rod more . etc Poul
@FlyFishingbyRobert Жыл бұрын
Hello. I have done both. I feel the long belly 7wt is a little bit light for my preference for coastal fishing so there I like the 8wt XO line. What setup I use is in the video description of every video.

Hello, i will be in sweden a few days before the morrum and I have a question. What fly pattern will be good in very erly September? I will start fishing around 1 September
@FlyFishingbyRobert2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Do you mean that you will fish coastal sea trout before going to Mörrum? When fishing sea trout on the coast in September a favorite is sandeel flies such as jiggy flies. Brown and orange are also good. I mostly use 7 cm flies or bigger but it depends on the area and how deep I fish.

Awesome fish Robert! I have just started watching your videos and I am very impressed. I am originally from Tasmania (Australia) and I usually target trout in the highland lakes and lowland rivers, however I am a big fan of chasing Australian salmon in the salt. I've just relocated to Poland and I am curious about fishing for sea trout in the Baltic Sea, I have caught sea trout in Tasmanian rivers during spring, (or sea runners) as we call them back home. Do you know anything about fly fishing for sea trout in Poland? I am assuming it would be virtually the same as in Sweden and Gotland, where I must visit one day! Keep up the vids, I love them :)

Hi Robert! Great videos and catches :) What kind of leader and tippet you are using in cold conditions?
@FlyFishingbyRobert3 жыл бұрын
Hello. I have several videos on my channel where i talk about leaders. I would reccomend the most recent one "Dropper fly rig for sea trout" There is another video where I rig my rod "Leader and Line for sea trout fly fishing" hope you find it useful. I don't do any changes to the leader in cold water.
