Camera 10 basically has a vent (idk if you notice later on in the video or if there was another comment about this) that leads RIGHT to your office - like a straight PERFECT b-line right to your office, so thats why springtrap "disappeared" in night 2 (your gut was right about the vent thing) and then jumpscared you from seemingly thin air. Springtrap can move faster than foxy honestly; hes seen as slow but hes a FAST little mouse - so you gotta watch out for em. Also, the little "buzzzzzzzz" or creepy ambience that plays (an eerie hum?) signifies how close he is to your office. (im 99% sure about this.) if its quiet, hes nearby. if its loud, hes either right infront of your office, just a camera away from the office; or about to jumpscare you. If this ambience isnt playing, hes not even close to your office. UPDATE: Phantom freddy can also play this loud eerie hum as well while walking past your office, mentioned by @Kled8839.

this method of detection is NEARLY foolproof, but only nearly because phantom freddy also plays the same loud eerie hum when he's going across your office. does not take away from the fact this is a great tip but there's a slight nuance to it

I should explain the Mangle Of Toys. Before FNAF 3 released back in the day, we got a teaser with a spotlight over a giant number 3 and the box of the Toy Animatronics parts that's in your office in the game. This teaser created a rumor that we would have to deal with a big amalgamation of the toys in the game when it released. This was then disproven when the game released and the only thing that could actually kill us was Springtrap. Fast forward to 2024 and this remake, and it all comes full circle with the addition of night 8, and the reveal of A-Mangle-lation(as Dawko called it.).

True widescreen alone makes this the definitive version for me. Always hated how FNAF 2-4 were in 4:3 but were always stretched to 16:9, in the mobile ports you can just correct the aspect ratio in the options, but on PC you had to do some manual tweaks to get it to appear with correct proportions. Hopefully 4 will also get a deluxe treatment

All of the deluxe editions for fnaf 1 2 and 3 have an 8th night, for fnaf 1 you go to custom night and put the ai levels of 2,0,2,3. For fnaf 2 the code in custom night is 3,9,5,2,4,8 and you unlock the 8th night for fnaf 2.
