Congrats on finishing FNAF World! FYI a couple years ago the game got a massive free expansion adding a second campaign with its own story, its own characters and its own gameplay. It's basically just a whole other FNAF game packaged in. You can access it by going into one of the houses in the forest area. It's a grey one, two stories tall, with some logs next to it. It's roughly an extra hour of content, and it leads directl into the next FNAF game, so I would recommend you to check it out. It's very self-contained from the rest of the game, it doesn't even have the same gameplay style, but I think you'd enjoy it. It's a very fun unique little thing.

So, unlocking the bottom row of characters is a bit tricky, some of them have pretty specific unlock requirements. Here are some explanations: the boss in hard mode is in fact, Scott Cawthon. His sprite comes from one of Scott's games known as "There is no pause button!" Scott in this game is basically telling us that he's fed up with FNAF fans, but in an email, Scott revealed that it's not meant to be taken seriously. The Clock Ending is in fact referencing the Crying Child from the 4th game, there's an unused image of the box from the 4th game but it doesn't contain locks and it's open, it could be part of an ending but only Scott knows. The Chipper ending, it basically tells what led Scott to make FNAF. Back in 2013, Scott made a cute, kid-friendly game called "Chipper and Son's Lumber Co." which is a game where you play as Tyke, son of Mr. Chipper, doing tasks like chopping wood. However, the game gained some controversy for being "unintentionally creepy" namely Mr. Chipper and Tyke due to their animations and movements, people compared them with Chuck E. Cheese animatronics. This led Scott to depression, he even considered retiring from game development, but he used the criticism he received to make a game that is intentionally scary which is the Five Nights at Freddy's series we know in love. Basically, Chipper wanted revenge for fans abandoning him over FNAF. Here's one more ending before going further, talk to Fredbear as Fredbear, not before he takes you to the Halloween Backstage area.

For context for the Chipper ending, Chipper boss and Chipper character in Update 2 : Before FNaF, Scott was already making games. But the games weren't well received. One of the main complaints was that the characters moved like animatronics. After these failures, Scott decided to make one last game, centered around animatronics BECAUSE of the aforementioned complaint : FNaF. As for the other games, from memory, there was Pilgrim's [something] (actually forgot the last part, but I know it was a Christian "inspired" game), The Desolate Hope (I think two characters from it appear in Update 2 : the coffee pot, which is an unlockable character, and Souldozer, which is a boss), and Chippers and Son (obviously, the Chipper from the start of my comment comes from here) I think that some FNaF fans have checked out Scott's previous games, which may have made them less "not well received" today

Fun Fact: The Security Owl and the Scott boss have the same HP. 100,000 iirc You have to enter one specific house now that you've beaten the final boss, and you'll unlock the second update where you'll get the bottom row characters. Just a little context though. 1. FNaF World bombed when it first came out, the overworld wasn't 3D like suggested in trailers, it didn't tell you what bytes and moves did, ect. 2. Before FNaF World released there was a Halloween joke version "hacked and released" by "lolhacks" (Lolhacks being one of Scott's alts), and the second update makes reference to the Halloween Edition. It's also likely why a lot of FNaF 4 Halloween Edition characters are playable in it. (Nightmare Mangle being excluded because Scott had a hard time making them cute enough for the game.) Also, I suggest getting those characters that you're missing before getting the update 2 characters. If you have all characters unlocked, you get something special that shows up in battles.

Now it's time for the update 2 content. To access it you have to enter the house with logs outside it in the first area. Then when you leave speak to Fredbear and the portal to update 2 will open. It's quite different than the regular game and can be quite difficult. There a several different minigames you have to complete. All but one of the minigames unlock multiple different characters depending on how you beat them. In one minigame you just have to beat the minigame to unlock the character. In another minigame you need to get an A rank to unlock one character and a B rank to unlock another. In another minigame you have to get all upgrades to unlock a character, get some upgrades to unlock the other character and finally no upgrades to unlock the other character which in my opinion this one is the hardest character to unlock out of all the update 2 characters. In the final minigame (which can be very frustrating) you unlock one character by beating it in under 3 minutes (imo this character is not worth it) to get the other character you just to beat the minigame in a longer time (not sure if you get both for beating it in under 3 minutes) A lot of these characters are necessary to be able to beat the final boss of Update 2. Two of the abilities of the character you unlock for beating the final minigame in longer than 3 minutes are must haves. One of the abilities of the characters you unlock for just beating the first minigame I mentioned or the one where you have to get an A rank is mandatory. One of the abilities of the character from either getting all upgrades or some upgrades, though not mandatory are very very important and useful. Make sure you have a character with gift boxes on both teams. Only one of the update 2 characters has giftboxes, this character happens to be the one that I find the most difficult to get. But I did manage to beat the final boss with a base game character for gift boxes on both teams. Base game character attacks are almost useless in the final area and against the final boss and may only be useful for gift boxes, team buffs and debuffing enemies, although you don't really need to focus on debuffing enemies or the final boss. 9:35 I actually remember this! (I think). Around the time the game got released and when this ending was found it was theorized that this ending less to do with the lore of the game but more to do with how personal the FNAF series is to Scott and as well as his family. The characters are supposed to be both Scott and his sons hugging while looking at the series they made together. Scott himself stated that his sons helped in the development of FNAF as a series (they did mostly bug hunting I believe) so with FNAF being big as it is even back then and his sons being a small part in its success, I can totally believe that Scott would add an ending like this that acts as a timeless thank you to them. I believe that this ending is a 4th wall breaking thank you from a father to his sons for helping him make FNAF what it is today... or well 7 years ago!
