I love this too. It wears similar on me as their original formulation. I also have super oily skin and I normally use a gripping primer, like milk hydro grip or the elf one and set with your loose powder. It’s amazing - I can wear it comfortably for at least 8 hours and not have to touch-up. It does transfer a little though, but most foundations (except the Dior Backstage face/body one) that I use do that on me so it’s not a dealbreaker.

I have dry skin and usually hate powders at almost all of them dry my skin, but I got this and love it. It surprisingly gives a kind of velvety almost like a cream foundation finish, rather than the usual powder dry/matte look. I like the way it's talc free as well, as Talc always irritates and dries my skin. I use it for work days where I apply it quickly with a brush rather than using the puff though, as I don't like having to rub on my face.

I’ve tried it twice so far, once with a regular sponge, not the one that came with it, and once with a brush. Both times it really emphasized texture. I’ll try it again because my skin is a lot like yours. According to you it should work for me! Maybe it was the primer I had on underneath that didn’t play well. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hmmmm? I've never tried powder foundations. My Peach Perfect foundation was D/C'd, and Lancome Teint Idole has just been re-formulated, and its price raised almost 12% to $68.00 Can, as well! I'm looking into finding another favourite foundation for my 62 year old normal complexion in case the new Lancome one isn't as good for a higher price. This Makeup Forever powder foundation is $54.00 Can here, so I may end up trying it. What liquid foundation would you also recommend I try? Love, and hugs Nikkia, Sherrey💕

@@superblessed2956 the nars soft matte is what I’m using now it’s so cakey either I’m applying it wrong or it’s just not great on my skin. I actually prefer the nars natural light one and the natural radiant but my oils come through quickly. The soft matte is so cakey and my skin doesn’t breathe I need something in between 😂

Can you do an update on your skincare? I need to find another primer like Becca Ever matte so far nothing compares to it. Any other primer I use it starts separating the foundation after 3-4 hours. I’ve tried so many primers and foundations it isn’t funny it even does this to Estée Lauder double wear

I hate that powder foundation gets such a bad rap because if you use a brush it's the most undetectable form of foundation in my experience. I've tried alllllll of the liquid foundations and they always look like SOMETHING is there at the very least, but I switched to powder foundations a few years ago and now you literally cannot tell I'm wearing base makeup even if you're right up in my face. For the record, I have combo oily skin with some serious dry patches that pop up, I have acne and acne scarring, and powder is my favorite! Rule #1 for me though..never use the applicator. Use a fluffy brush, use as little powder as possible and stipple it on and you're good to go!
