Crypto is risky as many would say but I think the actual risk in Crypto is not investing, buying the capitulation isn't a tough call, but it is a very tough call to figure out what to do aside holding. I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. I've gotten into a plethora of assets with $19k spread across stocks (options and futures) for the short term and Roth IRA, index funds, cryptocurrency and ETFs, for the long term. Now with over 91k in roi, I sit back and just reinvest at intervals while I handle my other businesses.

Good stuff man, make sure you do your due diligence on the little things and I recommend this book “The New Trading for a Living” It’s $80 but if you look online you can find it for free just put a PDF. Looking up prop firms is the best way to obtain more capital but just make sure you do research don’t want to lead you into an alleyway to get jumped. It’s good stuff if you’re trading like a good retail trader.

Tori your trade was 1:2.5 r/r, so this means that you risked exactly 16k to make 40k. Now if u risk 1% of your trade capital per trade u have 1.6m to trade with amazing but this is speculation cuz idk your % loss per trade. Acc. size doesn't really matter, all that matters is r/r. In dollars amount not bad trade at all but when it comes to r/r ratio well its a different story. Please correct me if am wrong.

To answer your question, you got into the trade because the downtrend reversed off that lower zone of support. Once it passed the previous lower high, it is a confirmed reversal.

This is happening to me too now. Idk if it's luck or what. I started out doing your strat, then just kept catching onto little things here and there, and now I'm making $500 to $1500 per day (paper trading) for almost a week. I'm going to keep doing this to make sure it's consistent, and also need to program a few things into a custom indicator just to reduce chance of human error, and then I'm going to do the topstep combine.

the trade setup was good at 4:30, there is a big FVG (fair value gap) that was created at 01:00 PM on the big red candle, you can see the trend climbing up the green line back to the fair value gap zone. that's why that trade worked out so well. the trend line placement was a good setup.

question for you Tori - do you feel like you were successful with the 5 min time frame? or do you think your success truly came from moving over to the 4 hr time frame?

I am not hating on you. Your performance is great, and I am in awe you managed to pull off all winning trades through the year, without a single loss (except the accidental ones). I learn a lot from your trading strategy. However, I wanted to make an unbiased critique, hope it sparks a healthy discussion. Again, not meant as a shade to you, but more asking whether daytrading is worth it. 1) In order to make this ~40k, you are risking ~900k. Most people don't have this kind of money, and is nerve wracking to even think of risking so much. What if you make a mistake? 2) You have roughy made a trade a month, and even if I add up all your %, its roughly around 16%. SP500 returned 14% YTD, with zero risk. That begs the question, is day trading with so much risk even worth it. Sure, you made a huge trade, congrats on your journey as a trader, for coming this far. Most people fail. But as a sceptic, I am making the argument, that you might have made similar returns, with your huge capital, in less riskier assets.

Hi Tori, so I have a question. I know you don't trade Forex at the moment but I think in one of your vids you were thinking about it due to the number of people that do. Not sure if you can do a video analysis of this (i know you're always busy) on EUR/USD. Looking at the 4hr now, and I believe we're going to see a reversal soon to the upside (for now), maybe up until NFP on Thursday. However, if you only go by trendlines, where would you draw these? Anyway, if you get a chance that would be great. If not I'll still watch your vids 😂.

Hey Tori, why didn't you use the steeper trendline with 3 touches to enter the buy trade? Do you always use a trendline that intersects with a HTF trendline in the opposite direction? Or was it just that it was too steep for you?

Ok so from what I seen and said is that there’s a trend line going down into support you had a double wix bottom price reacted to the support and bounced off and broke the trend and you took that trade after it broke out and it let you get a 1:3-4
