I got into an argument once because I mentioned having eaten kangaroo gumbo in Austria. I do mean Austria. At the time, I was abroad in Germany in grade school. We briefly crossed the border on the way to another German city and it was when we stopped to eat. I knew we weren't in Australia, but it was also very confusing insofar as my knowledge of Austria was that it sounds like Australia and also my only experience while there was eating kangaroo before leaving. Interesting theory, so I have to ask.. How does it explain living fossils? Are all those animals left out of evolution? If anything evolved, gaining new traits, why is there no evidence? Surely, with all the bones being excavated, there would be thousands of evolutionary skeletal structures... yet there are none. Why would they hoax a discovery of the missing link a few times, with the latest desperate clutch being 'Lucy' which is an ape skeleton they have tried to make look human? When we look at DNA and peptides etc, they need each other to function ( and this is in all animals) and not only disproves evolution but backs creation. The real question is, why are we lied to since childhood about all this and why are they still trying to cram this down our throats today? I am genuinely asking.

This game looks great! There used to be a game called Black and White where you played as a god with a giant creature, and could be good or evil. But it was more of a strategy game on rails, having to complete specific goals of conquest and puzzles, and I just wanted it to be a more sandbox game like this seems to be.

i see, Reus 2 is still not released, so it is hyping the generally great but fundamentally flawed prequel. It is a great game in many ways, mostly from getting some good permutations and emergent-properties from VERY simple elements. It is great in how it slowly generates drama procedurally. Where it falls flat is, once you know basic min-maxing (after 30 hours of game play mind you, you get your returns of investment here, before it goes dull) , you just end up re-rolling the same 1:3 or 2:3 chances EVERYWHERE and ALL THE TIME, because; once you got ANY random-quality-roll on a construction, it stays at its rolled-quality, unless you replace it with anything, including a re-roll for the same, but possibly better-quality roll". Construct-quality only improves by re-rolling, and this is a shame, because it allows for min-maxing while failing to be in favor of experimenting around with a lot of fun permutations. So you constantly switch from fun emergency-management to just optimizing-that-new-area just by constantly re-rolling for the optimal-quality-development.
