Well, I don't think he is... If anything maybe a-romantic (because they talked about getting married), but he talked about emotions and love in past, so I think it was just "eh I'm probably gonna be alone for the rest of my life, might as well tell people I'm ace, so that it doesn't look wierd and sad"... Idk maybe he just never was really atracted to anyone or never loved anyone very much. I too think sometimes that I might be ace, but then I;m like "wait... I do get atracted to people, I can fall in love with people, I just never found the right person to be in a relationship with". So maybe it's like that, beacuse as we all probably know, he was single for a pretty long time now
