Actually while it was technically a tutorial for the controller and console it was also a game and acted as a sequel to Astro bot rescue mission, so this Astro bot is the third in the series (fourth if you include the playroom and fifth if you also include the playroom vr)

The city level brings me back to Astrobot: Rescue Mission. Pretty much the same game but in VR, and that level is pretty much exactly the same down to it having a gorilla for a boss and that music, I could never forget that music.

When I got my playstation 5 about 6 months ago, it came with the first game of astro bot and it is so much fun and super adorable! The mechanics are fun, the way the controller interacts with you is fun! Just a great cute game all around

YO the Monkey with the banana gun in the box is such a deep cut, that's a reference to Mesal Gear Solid (the Ape Escape clone of Metal Gear they did as a cross-promo with MGS3) since you play a monkey version of Snake, have a banana gun, and can use cardboard boxes.

Never thought they would put the villain in there but I guess they had to because of the final battle with Psycho Mantis and having swap controller ports from port 1 to port 2 to win. They’d awesome. There's a playstation 4 version of this too im pretty sure and its also multiplayer plus it also has VR compatibly so if you and a friend play with vr one friend plays with vr while the other tells them what to do and where to go. It's actually very fun and one of the very few playstation exclusives I've played and actually liked
