You have to go for Air Drops as soon as they spawn in! they are time based, and the loot slowly starts to disappear as soon as it lands. It's to simulate it being looted already. Also, you have the setting on to where you only see what you are facing, true hardcore. VSS has great ammo/fire rate and can carry you to the mall. Even better if you can snag a 30-round mag for it from inside the police station. Wouldn't recommend SMGs for HC. Most late game bandits have ARs that will out range you and you'll find SMG ammo lacks in armor pen department. Most bosses will kill you even when you bullet hose them down with a Vector 45 w/ AP ammo and a 50-rounder. If you mean to beat the game, SMGs aren't the way!

@@LV9_x yeah just trying to help. Over 400 hours on this game lol. SMGs are my favorite and ever since the 1.0 launch they can't compete. Vector 45 Is my favorite gun and it sux that I can't use it late game anymore :P

You can leave items at the extraction to dump your weight and go back and repeat until you fill up your whole bag, when you open your inventory the extraction timer stops and resets to 5 seconds, great way to get out with a bunch of loot until you can increase your weight

Airdrops are rarely worth the headache. Val is good, but so are the 5.45 guns, as you get access to decent 5.45 ammo at Loner level 320. 7.62x39 guns are better later with green army rep, but are hard to feed with decent ammo early. As a side note, there are simple Mods that change the weapon and attachment names to the IRL names, it will make understanding what is what when rummaging through attachment boxes easier for a Tarkov player, they also don't effect the game balance, they are purely UI mods, so its still a "vanilla" experience, but you aren't tryna figure out WTF an N4o1 is.

You need to run straight for them to be worth it. Got some cool stuff since 1.0 from airdrops. It depends how fast you make it there and what type of airdrop it is.

You can see a hot map of item value by mousing over your roubles in the bottom left in inventory. red is worth not much, and green is more!

I just love how the 3rd run on his 2nd life was just a sobering event as soon as he left the train. Snipers are good against people. Assault Rifles against Monster. I prefer the VSS in semi auto to fulfill both rolls. I use a "Fire twice and run for life" technique.

You really want to build and level up the infirmary for the permadeath run ASAP. It gives you extra HP and Bleed resistance. arguably a must have Hideout upgrade. For weapons its Sniper and Assault Rifle. Everything else does not have the Armor pen for the late game. I go with the ECM and Nozin early and upgrade midgame depending on my faction. I completed the game before 1.0 twice and am almost done on my 1.0 run. Permadeath though... you really should play Hardcore without perma death first to figure stuff out and still have the game entertainingly punishing. I want you to make a long series out of this. But trying Permadeath right from the start will just burn you out with frustration.

ive seen you're beeing unserious about this from minute 2. you don't try to equip the scope like that, when you're serious. you're not even believing in yourself. in the moment you start the game it's already about clicks and watchtime... im expecting gameplay that comes out of the end of an hour or two. 3:55 affirmative, you're not spamming the G button in order to spot the geyers because you have absolutely no clue what they are and you get out of the situation after loosing a quarter of your hp just to give me a positive on that.... ill be sticking arround till the ten minute mark, just to erase those last 0.03 % of possible doubt. for certain is that you're not going to do it at this point. and if there's no "edit:" after this, than that's exactly what happend. jea, that litterly was his first time beating Lazar, he had no clue what the key was for lol about time i pitch down my expectations. so basically there are 2 ways of how to approach this run, one way gets you lazars armour and gun, wich turn the standard looting on map 1 into a walk in an actual park. as long you stay away from the middle and not john wicking the entire sawmill, you're life at this point entered godmode. however thats risky, and what you realy want in order to have a decent chance on map 2 is the red armour of one of the 3 mainguards of the sawmill. they do have a highger bulletprove raiting but what makes them necessairy is the radiation protection. without at least 12 % there is decent chance, you won't even make it from spawn to extraction without any sort of looting, just because you'll get drained by bleeding caused by radiation.i find its way easier to snipe the 3 at sawmill, when approached from the right side of the complex, than it is certain to take out lazar with a mozin. i find myself having more success, storming the supermarket and finding a death boss inside who's willing to give me his stuff wich than sets me up again to dominate all ongoing maps. lazar's gun is not good enough to go toe to toe with the boss on map 2, in the small hallways of the supermarket. i realy wouldn't reccomend an open fight with that boss on map 2, better trick the AI by getting it into a focus lock, while opening the opportunity for him to get shot from behind by an other ai. the only challange than is, to prevent that from happening on yourself. but that is the second 50 50 chance you have to take in the game. once past that. only stupidity can kill you.

i've already beaten this game in it's earlie alpha stage, but you win this bet, cause a fine man of culture like yourself, most obviously had to at least sink twice the ammount of time into this PVE game, in order to come to the finish line. you actually gave away your best punchline at the start, since, my opinions aren't allowed on redit anymore. cause when you dare to critisize, square for their final fantasy 7 remake as a fan who actually played the original game, your karma points drop fro 250 to 10 and at 10, your posts automatically don't get send anymore. if you try to post your opinion anywhere on redit with 10 karma points, you'll get a notification that the creator of the topic forbids people with less than 100 karma to post anything. and it's exactly the same situation. that does not make me the looser, since it's still a good thing where i live, if you stand up for what you believe in , instead of trying to fit into an AI generated picture of an asshole, that isn't you. believe it or not, but up to this day, i have a lot of friends in honkong, who aren't friends with the current regime, Wladimir. so if you try to speak to me again, you better look up while talking instead of down. cause that is the reality we're living in, not the dream. sincerly bre Abbrechen Antworten
