The game in every possible way says that big crab boss is almost unbeatable at the moment. Every NPC you talk near the arena talks, that there is monster and you better run. They say you that if monster is chasing you, just run to circles and he will be gone. There is NO ads in this fight, it's just regular mobs, that can be killed near circles without boss. Remember, games like this is not about "get good" in dodging and beating head against the wall, but about understanding the situation and oversmart it.

Advanced movement tip. Do a charge attack and as it propels forwards jump while moving forward and it will launch quite far. It’s a tight window but it’s good for making some long jumps and circumventing roadblocks

You missed the urchin adaptation, if you go to the lower crust and speak to the urchin he tells you to stay away. If you keep going into him eventually he gives you an adaptation which allows you throw explosive urchins.
