I think that’s why he offered it. He expected her to reject the offer so he can play the long game of breaking her anger and stubbornness. It just backedfired. What he doesn’t know is that she kinda wanted to and it wasn’t just to get out of the contract and what she doesn’t know is that he never wanted her to actually do it get out of the contract and he thinks she is doing it for that reason which is why he walked away. Just like it’s always been. It’s another misunderstanding from both of them.

@@TheCollectorsSin I think it’s more of trying to break the revenge that she’s blinded by. Leaving her be isn’t healthy either. It’s not like he didn’t try to calm way. He tried to explain to her and she didn’t want to listen. He tried to nice and loving way but she didn’t care. The only way that’s working is when he orders her around (from her pov). I think because Zeyneps character is already stubborn and bullheaded the only way to stop her is to be more stubborn and even more bullheaded which Halil is.

Honestly, I was impressed by Zeynep's words here and appreciated how Halil seemed to have a moment of realization as a result: "THIS is what it means to be Halil Firat's wife...." It means being bullied and humiliated and backed into a corner literally and figuratively until you're forced to give sexual favors, in complete degradation and subjugation of your will and mind (the heart is another matter, but it's not the point here). What a monstrous thing to be his wife. There's no dignity or honor in it. And Halil has such a thoughtful look on his face and almost seems ashamed of himself, as though he's realizing what he has turned the role of his wife into.... I really feel like they missed an opportunity here. Sadly, instead his realization is that she has held him in limbo and so he needs to turn the tables in the next scene to hold her captive instead?? Man, they both keep learning the wrong lessons from each other!

But I'm sad that (ok it's just how the writers are taking the story but let's pretend here) Halil is forgetting the key things Zeynap did, instantly trusting his aunt knowing well his aunt hates Zeynap. I can never forgive him for forgetting about Alper. He keeps on replaying what she said in anger and forgets what she almost sacrificed for him. Besides the wedding story where Songül saying she phoned Zeynap's such a loophole I'm surprised he believed it (of course if the letter is found this will get resolved). I've seen negative comments about Zeynap's reaction which is saddening too. From her POV she's a victim and her actions are justified (just like how his action was justified in S1). She's not torturing him to do this and that. She's just minding her own life staying away from him while still loving him. While Halil is being really toxic about certain things and that is approved by many while Zeynap's reaction is opposed. She needs more sympathy.

La historia sigue de mal en peor, Zeynep es un personaje hiriente, toxico, el mismo Halil le ofrecio el divorcio y no lo acepto...realmente ha desarmado el personaje de Zeynep, totalmente dominadobpor labira,el resentimiento, nada de lobque era antes tieme ,el personaje de Halil ,mas sufrido se supero mas aun... Season 1 was fantastic, season 2 is disappointing!! 😪😪 waited eagerly for S2 but for what, still no love. Even eren and Selma are disappointing!! What! The mother-in-law stops you having your first night of wedded bliss???? I’ll say no more and if they change from daily to just two episodes on weekend, they’ve lost me. Has Halil forgotten his before and after moments… let me explain just two of them Halil said that he would not touch her even if she were the last woman on earth NOW he wants a kiss to clear her debt 😮 Halil said she married him for his wealth THEN he says she can have a blank cheque and blocked any other chances of funding to her project… What is going on here??? The man is a walking contradiction… what is this behaviour in him supposed to do for or to Zeynep???
