The way the controller makes you feel every surface and sensation is incredible. Also one pro tip I highly recommend, whenever you have the Frog arms are assimilar a weapon used the spin attack, and it will let you hit enemies from farther away, very useful.

You can triple jump too if you jump, attack and then hover. Let's you cover bigger gaps.

The game is so creative, fun and cute. Sony needs to take advantage of this studio to make other bigger games. Whoever this Studio is are obviously very talented and creative. They need to start making more games. They need to get rid of all those crap live service studios they bought, and invest more money into studios like this.

@@The_Primary_Axiom This is Team Asobi the last dev from JapanStudio. Sony closed Them a few years ago. JPstudio was the devs that helped make Demons Souls ans Bloodborne. They were known for games like this. Knack, Gravity Rush, Ape Escape and Puppeteer.

Tip: If you forget a puzzle piece or a bot, you can go and collect it, and then just leave the level. The game will still count it as being found. No need to finish the level again.

This wasn't a game I was immediately going to check out, but I'm glad that I did anyway. It looks so much fun and it's a great throwback to the platformers of my youth. All the Playstation game references got me wanting to guess the origins of the 169 (nice) custom bots. I've gotten to remember most from game demos (Ape Escape) and clips. Symphony of the Night was the first Castlevania that I remember on the PS1 (featuring Alucard in his coffin). It just comes off as a generally cheerful game, and that's right at the heart of why many of us gamers and former gamers appreciate video games. Yesterday got to be a rough day so it's nice to unwind this morning. I look forward to seeing more, even saw a new stream come up as I get ready for work. Thank you for playing this Lizz.

In my opinion it’s #4 Uncharted 4 was released within the last ten years imo it’s one of the best PlayStation exclusives. I also prefer TLOU part 1. It’s not the same without Joel imo. 😢 And I need to still play Bloodbourne.

@@MrBfg586 Yes that's what I mean. Also, this looks about two generations on from Switch. Look I love Nintendo too when they're on form, I go way back with them man, but this new Astro is highly fun and polished, you really shouldn't be missing out on it if you love the craft of videogames at all, the design and soul of it is top tier stuff. Nothing wrong with taking a few (classic) inspirations along the way. And the fan service stuff? It just adds to it for me, personally. This is basically Japan Studio now, and I'll take anything they've got. Can't stand the direction Playstation has been going for a while now, it's a breath of fresh air :)

I hate Astro Bot so much. The original free demo with the PS5 was completely awesome but this is such a massive insult to many other games and gamers (or suppose to be imho). My reasons: 1. It steals all gameplay mechanics from Nintendo games and other 3D platformers. It plays well, but it feels so unoriginal. 2. Not everyone plays or likes all PlayStation exclusives, so many will miss the references. 3. Along with point 2, I find this game extremely narcissistic. The first one is completely fine, it was a honour game and homage to PlayStation's legacy FOR FREE for anyone to peruse. But if Xbox or Nintendo made such a game, they would've get backlash especially the former. 4. Along with what I said with point 3, they made this a FULL priced game! For something so narcissistic, selfish and unoriginal and it's under 10 hours to complete, it baffles me honestly. At the present moment I not hearing my friends or see any PSN friends playing this, so I assume the sales aren't going great. But the publicity this game is getting is honestly not sitting well with me. Sony is losing it, I'm still waiting for a worthy exclusive and it's been 4 years. Rachet and Clank Rift Apart was fun, but again extremely short?!
