In the story it said that the time in the Winchester house flows differently. Although the main character returned to the house to save his daughter, he didn't realize that by the time be returned many decades have passed and the house is in shambles, his family died a long time ago, and it is modern times. He has become one of the undead.

There was a Coffin standing up straight in the opening room of the catacombs. My biggest pet peave is when Hollow doesn't just interact with obvious shit or he refuses to put items while they have no current use at the time, will have a use later. Sometimes immediately later.

This is based on the real Winchester House which was built by the proprietress and has paranormal activity and strange rooms, stairs leading to nothing but a wall, and doors opening to a brick wall and not a room. It is now a famous museum.

Winchester mansion is an actual building. While Winchester's wife was alive they kept working on the mansion as she experienced "paranormal things" and was believed to be cursed. The mansion had doors and hallways leading to dead ends and fake doors so that the "ghosts" can get confused in the maze mansion. The house was 24,000 square feet 10,000 windows 2,000 doors 160 rooms 52 skylights 47 stairways and fireplaces 17 chimneys 13 bathrooms 6 kitchens its an interesting story if you look it up
