Driven right it can flex on vehicles like the renegade, since you can get 2 shots in for their one while you do damage much more reliably trading shots at each others turret.

Nowadays games is exactly what I discussed with a friend today. Yesterday I did 9 games in 34 minutes, which is on average less than 4 min a game... it was pure madness, just lightning 1:15 simulators... I could not believe it. Considering to take a break until mid January if this is the new normal...

Played 5 match in like 15min or so, playing t7 tech tree against t8 and lost all matches. Game is madness with people playing their bz and other shiny new tanks yolo so match either win in 2min or defeat. In the end with so many defeat what's the point anyway grinding.

I'm so sick of getting constantly sniped by BZ's from 500+ meters away, they are literally more accurate than my Skorp its disgusting. It feels incredibly hard to do well if you don't have good armour in tier 8 nowadays.

So the other day I was playing my Tortoise. The score was 0-8 before I reached the glacier area on mountain pass from the south base, to add more, I solo held vs 3 tier 10s and 1 tier 9 did 6.7k or so to them, and my team further got clapped, score was like 5-11, one other team mate decided to get a kill on other side of map. Battle ended 6-15, with me doing 8k, I was like nope, thank you, ALT+F4… TODAY, for a change, played 17 battles won 2, i said no thank you also. Thank god am going away for a holiday now.

STG is my main tank to grind credits. It is actually enjoyable. I have Skoda T56, Obj 703 V2 but heavy game play is so tedious for me personally.

Besides battles madness i experienced problems with a matchmaking again. It happened on every occasion when it was possible: one of the teams got 2 or more tier 10 reward, without splitting them equally between 2 teams. Be it 2 platoons of 260's, 3 chieftains of 279&chief, they always happened to be in one team, which wasnt supposed to be the case if im not mistaken. I think i dont have to explain how those battles ended.

Bro when i saw the BZ for the first time in a battle i was shocked, the one on our team used the rocket boosters and i was like; yo wtf is this, are those rockets or am i having a stroke?! And then the one on the enemy team hit me and did 750 dmg. We now have tier 10 tanks at tier 8.

Toatally true! I haven't played in weeks and now that I comeback to the game, I get greeted with this BS MM?? 🤣🤣No way! Thankfully I got my Festive Atmosphere up to level X, so I stopped playing that often (once or twice a week) just to get Mila, because the battles are just BROKEN, BZs running around and I got only DEFEATS (not a losing streak in 1 day, but in A COMPLETE WEEK) even after dealing 5k dmg (one time I even blocked 11k dmg with my IS-4, still it was a defeat); my WR is just nosediving at this point, so much time spent on it, just to watch it falling with these teams nowadays?! All just in a couple of minutes🤢🤮. Now I just play Bioshock Infinite or GTAO, those are more enjoyable games.

WG should change the matchmaker to where it checks for tank subtypes,not only main types. I've recently had a match where we had 1 super heavy (60tp) and the enemies had 4 super heavies (type 5,60tp,705a and maus). Guess who pushed the heavy flank and won easily with the support of a few meds...Other than this,the fact that the matchmaker doesn't check for winrate or wn8 for the same types,as it can match a 60% winrate arty against a 60% winrate s conq is just unfair.

Completely agree, was trying to get the last 2% in my LT-432 mark and it feels impossible. Games are very quick which means that assist dmg through spotting is very hard!

The Guard is one of my favorite tanks. I play it like a sniper and it's amazing. I'm not a good player, but this tank is very enjoyable with it's mobility, speed of reload, high alpha, and gun handling. I only wish I could make add a cooler looking style to it.

I'm on NA server, and my games are rarely the 5 minute 15 to 5 ones you talk about all the time. About every second day (so say 1 in 15 games) I have 1 game which turns into a drawn out last second win/loss/draw, so full 15 minutes one one game. Yesterdays' was in the 122 TM, saved the game from an early loss by tracking the new BZ HT on top of a ridge while he was firing his rockets to ram kill two low HP tanks...he died and I lost my two teammates in the push against two full HP TD. I fell back and supported base, they pushed, I sniped (was a one shot at this point), we killed the attackers and our 3 remaining tanks slowly crossed the map to kill arty. Between the 3 of us we had about 500 HP. These games are more common to me than the blow out 15/3 games I occasionally see with the average being about 8-9 minutes in duration.

9:15 , a small tip is to just fire an AP or APCR round at the gate, it'll not fully destroy it and give u the cracks to shoot through. Using ur tank to destroy it can be inconsistent and result in u taking extra dmg (if they pre-aiming) or make you miss out on potential dmg through that gate. As for the Guard, I never really disliked it, it has a really good gun. Though me personally, I think I'd rather play with a T-34-3 for that pref mm as fighting tier 10s can really be tough in any t8. that's just me tho, guard is a pretty good tank IMO. great vid as always. I think we'd love not only these type of videos but more videos where u show ur best 4-5 games just via stream or when u are marking/remarking a tank, would be great!

Holiday Ops. What do you get on holidays? Tourists! And lots of them! Some crazy games, with clueless players. Played down the 0 line on Pilsen today in the SMC 67 and ended the game on 0 dmg. Not because I played bad, but the enemy team melted so fast I couldn’t keep up!

I feel you... came back to the game after two years and thought it would be a great idea with M46 KR. I made one or two shots worth of damage per game and then they're already over. I'm doing better now then I did two weeks ago but I have to focus so much on the game to just not suck really badly.

Good point skill, I'm free to play player, and I would love to play with skorp or su, but I got no money for them. But I do have STG and it's my go to credit grinding tank. My first 2 t8s prems are schwarzpanzer and patriot. I'm very good in them and they are fun, but not in these 6 minute game meta. STG and liberte just print money in these fast games, I don't mind them much. With the free prem time(given by WG for tokens from well deserved rewards), credit reserves, holiday ops credit boost, all you have to do is 2k damage in STG/Liberte and you make 120k+ credits per game. On a good session, you can grind 1.5 million credits in 10 games(roughly 1 hr) Thanks for your ranked battles videos, the bonds helped big time!

Yep, I have been noticing a lot more 15 to 1 situation lately ever since holiday ops. Tier 8 and above MM is totally crazy atm. Even tier 7 is not safe now bec 80% of the time u will be dragged to a tier 8 match bec of how many people playing their tier 8 premium for credit farming. I recommend playing tier 5 or 6 if u want to avoid all the madness that is happening atm.

Talking about the STG I really enjoy it. It can trade against meds (while its dpm isn't at all tragic), it can bounce some shots with the turret, it can snipe (in tier 10 battles or something) it has the speed. Good combination of the things and a few shots can generate a lot of credits. (Unlike the 240 guns.) The MM. I dunno, it does not feel much worse for me. Yeah, a lot of 15-1 games but it has been for quite a while. I've seen more new players but that just means more farming for me ;)

During this event I play far fewer battles, sometimes 0 per day, I don't know what happened, but most battles settle after the first 2-3 minutes and often end after 4-5.

When I play t.8 light, eg:lttb, I have a hard situation against elc, and when play liberte, I face bz. T.8 tanks are 3 types: premium for p2w, weak bond tanks for f2p, and techtree, all this is a huge suffering.

Hi Skill, love your videos as usual. I bought this tank in the bondstore and i fell litterally in love. The gun of the vehicule and the mobility are excellent. I think it might one of the rare tanks wich is balanced in the game. BTW i 3rk it in 84 games with 2.7k damages (1 178 average base experience). Just insane vehicule :3, i recommand it a lot.

I think It should be limit of gold shells per vehicle and it should be calculated carefully. In my opinion It could be about 10-20% of all shells. This could change game absolutely and give for example Japan heavies chance to Play.

It's a decent vehicle - situationally. The armor is a hand-wave; better than cardboard but certainly not steel. Gold rounds a tier lower will punch right through the turret face and upper plate. The gun is accurate and punchy but utterly no depression, speed is OK for a medium. Play it like a mobile TD with crap cammo and you can do decently in it. Solid second line support.

I don't think it is just you Skill. It's very rare for a game to last more than 6 or 7 minutes. Most are lasting much less than that. I've had several games on smaller maps that lasted 3 or 4 minutes. It's not even fun when on the winning side for me. Not much strategy, just a racing game with guns. 100% agree on the current state of the game during Christmas. North American server is especially crazy given the smaller sample size of players. Regardless of server, it's a roller coaster, and I gave up on T8's because of how chaotic it is. The BZ spam doesn't help either.

I'm a F2P player and I got the AMX Liberte as my first and only premium tank through bonds. I'm trying so hard to grind for credits as I'm agonizingly grinding for the IS4, but with the introduction of the BZ and Iron Arnie and also factoring in the +2mm, my AMX is pretty much useless and I average 35k credits per game. I honestly don't think I'll be playing this game come next year. If I had the money to spend on this game then perhaps things would be different, but I don't and I urge any other F2P player to quit and save themselves from the frustrations.

Yep, as I told you yesterday on the stream, every year is the same Blitz-enhancement phenomenon, but this year has been incredibly brutal in that matter. In my opinion, the cause is the new premium tanks that got in, one with an insanely annoying HE shell (BZ) and the other an scout with strong I-don’t-give-a-fuck-let’s-YOLO-and-get-a-clip light tank. I would say if we look at the stats of both tanks we could see people has gone crazy playing with it and hence the worst blitz experience I’ve seen in 9 years.

I agree with everything you say skill, however its not just a problem cuz of BZ. MM was already broken with introduction of EBRs and czech heavys, bourrasque etc. I feel you and I feel like garbage. I am just slightly above avg player with 56% wr. I am trying to mark amx 13 57 which is insanely hard for me cuz I get Berlin all the time out of all maps and games are very short. On top of that 13 57 is hardest tier7 3rd mark cuz u need to do 3k avg dpg in order to get there. Like you and probably many others, I simply hate myself and consinder to quit WoT for a while even though its christmas time so yeah, there you have it. Luckily, I can still watch your vids which are great. Edit: Funny fact, I had many sessions like your 100% mark of Somua. I have been at 93% for weeks now and everytime I try playing for 3rd mark I manage to get to somewhere between 94,5 and 95 but just not enough. Then I get shit MM or my brain is farting, whatever and then I basicly drop to 92%. So then I fight with all I have, to at least get back to 93%. Terrible, terrible experience even though 13 57 is great. Btw I have lost count of how often this has happened to me in like the last month. I feel old now :(

Just one funny fact ? How insane this event is? I did 7500 damage in one battle with M-IV-Y - yes with fucking PREMIUM YOH tank :D, Tourists everywhere, 7,5k dmg and 8 kills tier 8/9 matchmaking.

Playing this game has become a mental torture. I know I sound negative but I cannot find anything positive in this game anymore. I didn't buy premium account for this month and if it goes like this I will not buy it anymore. It is not so difficult to make a skill based MM and to have a recent MM at the same time. When they can create onslaught they can create a skill based MM mode as well where only above average and higher players would play so competitive players could enjoy the game. Unfortunately it seems like they focus on 16 years old and lower aged players who know nothing about the game mechanics and they just want to drive their tank and shoot 2 times. Maybe it is fun for them but for me the game is going down the hill rapidly.

Got the regular STG and it is a favorite in Frontline. IMO, part of the problem right now is the BZ-178. It needs to be changed to a Tier IX premium. Comp everyone by letting it earn bonds. Otherwise, Tier VIII is totally trashed by it.

Don't worry, Holiday time is taken its toll on my performances as well! It is either very good and easy or very bad, not enjoyable and painful. I think because of the Match making, a lot players are yolowing and if you have the badluck being in the wrong team, you'll end with 25% win rate... usually the case

I prefer these games that show the 'average joe' games that even the best players get. I get over watching tank reviews from other channels 'here's two random games - OMG 7k damage!!' - those games are just cherry picking which really has an impact on how you see yourself and the games. Especially when it feels like 7/10 games are 15-2 and you're the only one that has got any realy damage in.

Well, I've created detailed posts in the Feedback Forums on how to fix every problem with the game, the short games and quick death being the biggest issues, but most of the fanboys DON'T want the game to improved and enjoyed by more people which would also make the game more healthy. Tanks have become faster and faster, thats why games are also ending faster... Also not helping, small maps like himmelsdorf, mines, paris and some more. Atleast make those small maps bigger for tier 8 and higher.

Stg is mutch easier tank to mark than t34 -3 i use optics and its good spoter tho :) i like this tank ^^ Imo this need buff to side armor and could be very competetive toy xd

I wish WG will give this tank 390 view range ( and better shell velocity) , because the 370 view range that it has right now is tragic... You need to have really good crew + optics AND food, so you can spot.

T8 nowadays is really unenjoyable My tnh 105 grind is basically As wonderful as beating my on balls with a big stick repeatedly untill it's goes off to the moon U peek boom -800 by Bz Especially in close range heavy battle What I learn from all of it Is just stay away from Bz and snipe Unless u play tank that ignore Bz hesh like vk100.01 or something Ur just get lucky with the mm My AVG DMG is not that bad around 1.8 on tnh But I expect better since my last t8 grind was 2.3k AVG DMG on Japanese medium

Wargaming must make Grand battles (30v30) more common and make it avalible for tier 8 or even mabey lower that will make the battles more interesting and longer and they MUST take a look att the matchmaking. People with the same or close winratio needs to become more common also.

3:20 you make significant credits only if you have premium acc. i grind with every credit booster possible exept prem acc and im making barely 70-80 k for ~3k combined battle and those are not happening super often

1 month premium is only £8. That's 1 or 2 coffees depending where you go. If you play the game seriously it's worth a few quid.
