Omg, this is such a fun and unique concept for a game! With the rise in more intelligent ai in, what feels like, just the last year this is such a positive and fun way to use it! I love the idea that one day we'll actually be able to simply *talk* to npc and companion characters in game instead of always picking from a set list of interactions. Like, especially if you were playing some of those games in vr? The level of immersion would be incredible! This game actually gets me so excited to see what the future of video games have in store for us!

I was watching Proofesure play this game, and he beat almost all of the houses by carrying a wet floor sign and asking if it was the neighbors. and then he expressed his concerns with safety in the neighborhood which was enough for him to get in. It worked with the Karen neighbor because she is like in charge of the neighborhood watch or something like that, and it also worked for the man in the butterfly wings because he loves safety. It would be interesting to see if you could get those same reactions or if the AI is randomized with items

I always love a game that utilizes you actually talking and having AI responses. It’s not always perfect, but it can lead to some pretty fun moments. I remember playing Origins, which is a tech demo for that kind of gameplay, and after I was done with the initial game, I went around just talking out my butt to people. I asked a civilian “do you like your chicken with or without the bone?” “Uhh…I’m sorry, are you referring to chicken wings? There was an explosion here recently and I think we should focus on that.” “With or without the bone…?” “Fine…I like my chicken wings without the bone…”

I do love watching this gameplay. I hope they do more with it in development like really expanding the town and AI components. For example: -Each ‘night’/level is a different part of the town that wasn’t accessible before. -The AI after each night ‘learns’ in some way so that the following nights are more difficult, such as being spotted too often by the nightwatch in the same disguise. Or failing to be invited in by a guest too often can lead to the next night of guests being on high alert or the security features go up higher. -Certain clothes are not just laying out and about and you need to sneak/steal them in progressively more unique ways, or unlock them. -If possible, maybe adding furniture to the house. -A time limit to sucking the victims blood? Maybe they try to call the police or call for help?

The cop said he didn't believe in vampires, so you're not being put in special conditions due to being a vampire, your being put in a place full of people. And technically you got "invited" since they're putting you in there, you're not just breaking into a house

I actually had two ideas for things you could use to try convince people to let you in. You could either try saying that you're an undercover agent of the government, being sent by the president himself due to suspicious activity on the people's property. Or what I also had in the mind is that you could try to pretend to be Doctor Who. I know, oddly specific, but who wouldn't let our favorite Time Lord inside, especially if you got a good reason. For example you could tell them that you're looking for new companions, or that your Tardis crashed in or on their house and you need to get inside to retrieve it.

Here's an idea if you do another episode of this: Dressing up in the construction worker outfit (including the hard hat) that's near the house you begin in, go around to the neighborhood and tell the people that they called you for an "inspection" (i.e. the foundation of the house or the plumbing).
