This game is so surreal can't wait to play it. The string of alphanumeric characters near the umbrella art (13:23) spells out "You said it was an accident I was the only backup". It is hexadecimal code converted to ASCII. I don't know what it's for but that builds suspense.

All has been non euclidean, but the farm had spherical geometry, the rest has been hyperbolic geometry. Not "non euclidean" and "inverted non euclidean"

The dev has a youtube channel, CodeParade. The game basically started as an exploration of non-euclidian spaces through simulation, and then they decided to make it a game.

That farm world was smaller than I could perceive. No wonder that jump was so weird. And the tunnel likely was an extension of the perspective issue.. like the card area was likely a lot bigger than it looked.

By the looks of it, the crystals are platonic solids. There are indeed only 5 of them: 1. Tetrahedron: a triangular pyramid, 4 triangular sides. 2. Hexahedron: a cube, 6 square sides. 3. Octahedron: 2 square pyramids stuck together, 8 triangular sides. 4. Dodecahedron: almost a foot-/soccer-ball, 12 pentagonal sides. 5. Icosahedron: best known for being the 20 sided die (d20), 20 triangular sides.

The farm world was spherical geometry which is like the opposite of hyperbolic geometry. You weren’t on the inside of the sphere but rather could see all the way around it. I’d recommend watching the dev’s video on non-euclidean geometry
