That lot of rare games gets me so sad-- thinking about the time like 6-10 years ago when the thrift/yard sale bubble hadn't popped yet and you could legitimately find great and rare games for cheap. Nowadays you have to expect paying at least close to eBay prices for everything unless you're insanely lucky.

Found a copy of Black ops 2 for 2$ at a garage sale, definitely recommend going to some and seeing if you can get a good deal. I also found Halo 5 for 5$ with a metal case.

I remember there was a day a few years back where I walked into my local retro gaming store and they had Go Go Hyper Grind. They had it displayed in their cabinet with all the rare stuff they got, and it was only $60. And I remember looking at it and thinking to myself "there's no way that dumb game is worth $60." Well, it turns out I was right because it's actually worth $400.

grew up going to the og retro games plus location in westport connecticut every saturday. the guys who own it are super cool , they value people who are dedicated to playing retro games. I remember a specific time when the owner was there and dropped a boxed emerald copy down to $70.

This is my local game store! They do a very good job of paying the best. The only thing I would say is their selection is as good as what you see before the owner pulled those bins out. Their store has really good customer service I just wish they’d have more higher end games like what you see here. Definitely give them a visit if you’re in the area

funny part i am game collector so i have a lot those rare game cube games i can't believe prices of them , once i have enough money i gonna put up for sale ,you need business account amazon ,plus ps1 and ps2 ps3 dream cast n64 Xbox i even got systems and modem and Gameboy add on for GameCube ps4 as well as switch and Gameboy advance and PS vita psp i used buy all roleplaying games type games so i have both phantasy star for game cube ,all with there manuals ,guides all my games got there manuals I never knew these games worth a lot money until you showed me and rest ,so i thank you

Something that haunts me is back in 2015 there was a listing on eBay for go go hypergrind with multiple sealed games. I knew Altus was special but didn’t think much of it and bought one for $30. I opened it because that’s what it was worth back then. I wish I would’ve had the foresight to buy every single sealed copy he had.
