That City Of Hope tape looks like a Betamax cassette, a smaller version of the VHS. The Betamax system didn't last long and ended worldwide sales in the late 90's. Copper smithing is hard work but very rewarding, best of luck. Fun episode, thanks!

When I was a little girl growing up, we had about 30 boxes of those shiny Brite glass ornaments..all shapes & sizes. My mother, who kept NOTHING (even my Majorette boots 🙄😬) without asking me, threw all those things in the trash!! Dear God….

Love the channel my wife and I came across it. We live in Nokomis and we used to go to sales but I’m disabled at the moment need surgeries but you can find a lot of great stuff in Venice Nokomis Englewood Osprey and South Venice. I’m happy you guys are making a business out of it. Look forward to future adventures!!!

that City of Hope tape says SVS which means S-VHS. Same as some camcorders. Probably pretty rare. Id guess it was an import from Taiwan or somewhere.

Looks like a Hi8 but definitely not beta max. Beta is smaller than VHS but not as small as the tape you have.

Didn’t they make little tapes like that that fit down into a regular sized tape? You just pop them in? I remember seeing smaller tapes that went into the regular sized ones. Or am I going crazy lol? I’m 49 so I remember that vhs era. Do more research on that and see if it’s one of those,kind of like an insert. Does this make sense? 😊
