Nice to see more going for the champagne gene! I’ve never really liked it except for a select for combos just because it washes everything out, and the single gene is dirty to me. This is fantastic though

I love seeing your videos and posts. You are making some absolutely stunning danger noodles. You could breed a normal to a pastel and we would get some amazing colors. I just mean even your everyday breeds come out looking a little different and just so vibrant.

I remember in one of your vlogs when you showcased an animal with champagne at a reptile show. I cant remember who or what but this was a few years back and I believe it was the point I realized the potential of champagne when adding a few genetics. It's a sleeper to the masses for sure.

Justin, you said before that you believe that redstripe and cypress may be allelic because of the crazy way they look when combined. I think that not only are you correct in that belief, but that those genes might be allelic to champagne, spider, etc. Cypress has a wobble like many of those genes do, and the redstripe champagne combos you just produced look more than just unrelated codoms layered over each other, it looks like allelic genes expressing an acts like super form. Obviously there will need to be breeding trials to prove this out but it's potentially a very interesting new dimension to several projects that people have on the go at the moment.

I don’t think champagne is a morph that makes sense to mix with most recessives but that being said, I think a lot of people are sleeping on the possibilities it has when adding in the correct codominant mutations. It can create some combos that are unlike anything else out there. Especially now, with the man himself talking about them, I can see their value rising at least a little in the near future. I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination so I’m probably wrong. Thats what my gut is telling me me though.
