Bro that reminds me of me. Back in like 2018 or something, I wanted to make electronic beats where I whisper sing over them, because I was self conscious about my voice, but I chose not to. A few years later, Billie Eilish blows up for literally the same thing I was envisioning. I also wanted to create rock inspired beats, but thought that nobody would like it. Then MGK drops his album and pop-punk makes a resurgence. Now I just follow my guy. For about 5 years now, I've been wanting to make hip-hop beats with an orchestral synth sound. Now I see rage beats and music with instrumentation is becoming popular and I'm not gonna sit this one out. I have a mixtape dropping soon that uses lots of synths and my ideas, I wonder if people will like it.

It's amazing when someone with actual music knowledge is introduced to a genre made entirely of... your face at the beginning of the video describes it.

Honestly, the production was PERFECT. The vocals were meh until you used the formant shifter CUZ GODDAMN that was sick. Plus the slowed down version could 1000% pass as hyperpop. Goddamn. Sick.
So I've tried making this genre...
