My Yoi doesn't even rank despite 2k atk and 200+ CV, meanwhile my Raiden that I rarely ever use ends up in top 17%. My Zhongli is top 42% with Homa hybrid build (24% for shieldbot if I put Black Tassel on him) and Kazoo would hover around 85% if I had FS, which I don't. I play everyday and spend money on resin refills regularly, and I don't have artifacts approaching anywhere near these in the video or the builds I see on the site. I been farming Nahida deepwood artifacts for longer than she's been out. Domain regularly 10 times a day, every day for 10 months. I had 350 deepwood artifacts lvld to 20 before I started using them as fodder, and I still couldn't get builds that good. The only way I get in any top 1% is if I make up my own category. I'm the #1 DPS Diona in the NA server that specifically uses a yoimiya-like playstyle using the 4p Bolide set. And my crit value still doesn't beat the person ahead of me rocking the same specific build. He has 20% more Crit Dmg than me but uses R1 Thundering Pulse while I use R5

I think you give a lot of people a bit more credit than they deserve. The people who actually go into investing their characters to a decent level for combat content like abyss, events, etc are in the minority. That being said, yes it’s rng so who the hell cares but it is worth specifying that people like us who farm for good artifacts are probably in like less than 20 percent if that of Genshin players.

You're not missing anything, fortunately. Unfortunately though, that practical usage you mentioned is exactly why people flock to the website. I personally don't mind it though, even when I see AR57 players with 50CV builds when I only have a single 30CD piece at AR59.

The only actually useful part is it shows the damage calculation for certain characters/actions (and seems pretty accurate at least for mine) so you can see what builds are the best

(PLease don't judge me, I'm basically just "Typing out loud") Are you telling me Shimenawa is Ganyu's BiS for Melt Team? I've been running on 4pc WT, but after looking at this website, I can see that for Equal Team set-ups, and Weapons, Shimenawa Ganyus seem to be pulling ahead (Melt) Even though the Wanderer Troupe builds that I've seen have Better CV (More CritRate/Dmg), More Atk%, More EM, The Shimenawa set still somehow outperforms them. in one comparison (MELT): WandererTr has: 68/230, 332EM, 1990Atk; Shimenawa has: 73/202, 266EM, 2154Atk. The WandererTroupe build has more CritDMG/EM stats than Shimenawa, but the Shimenawa has more Flat Atk sub stats than WT. In Total, Shimenawa Build = +164 Atk but WandererTroupe Build = +28Crit DMG, and +66 EM So when we roll our Artifacts and get Flat Atk instead of Crit/EM, should we rejoice after all? Or is it more so that the Shimenawa 2pc and 4pc Bonuses are so strong that they compensate (and more) for the lack of Crit and EM compared to Troupe in a Melt set-up? Shimenawa Bonuses = +18%Atk +50% CA Dmg for 10s. WandererT Bonuses = +80EM +35% CA Dmg unconditional. *Basically the extra 15% CA Dmg seems to be worth it, while allowing for less min-maxed artifact pieces. It's more lenient towards "bad rolls", and can still give you better results even if your set isn't as good as your WandererT set on the surface.* I guess in the end, the trade-off was between +28CritDmg +66EM (vs) +166Atk +15%CADmg. When I look at it this way, it does make sense to be honest. Sure almost 30%more CritDmg and 66 extra EM sound enticing, but 166 higher Atk and more CADmg seem too good to pass up after all. Although... The Next highest WandererT Build has 80/215, 2323 Atk, and 199 EM. This is, again, higher CritValue than the previous Shimenawa build, as well as 169 more Atk, but 67 less EM. The Atk-EM difference is almost the same as before, but this time, the positions are reversed. And Still with higher CV as well as Atk this time, WandererT fell even further compared to the previous Shimenawa build. Whether Shimenawa had less Atk, or less EM (and always less crit), it didn't matter too much. It would still win over the WandererT builds. Seems like if you can get between 2050-2150 Atk and between 250-300 EM, with some decent crit, Shimenawa will be your best friend if you are looking for those Big Charged Atk Numbers. ALTHOUGH..... This is only based on Charged Atk Melts... Not involving your Ult (Q). Some Melt Ganyu set-ups still allow you to use her Q while keeping consistent Melt CAs. That could end up being more overall damage so WandererT would then be her best set after all????? *Anyway, I'm just rambling at this point, so anyone who knows more and wants to add to this is very welcome! Maybe I missed something, maybe I'm wrong, it's all good hahaha.*

I’ve been playing since March and am AR 56 almost 57, and I’m confused by this. I farm artifact domains almost daily and thought I had some decent pieces until I saw this. I guess I don’t quite understand what makes a “Godly” piece. I have 4 artifacts with over 40% CV(not great, I know) and 17 with over 30% CV. I don’t understand the 4 lines thing. Also is the artifact piece trash if it rolls into HP or DEF if those are stats you don’t need (this is on an over 30% CV piece). Can anyone help in explaining what is good and what isn’t. I obviously know a great piece would have AT least 3 good sub stats. CV isn’t the only thing that matter. EM and ER as well. I am not a lucky person with artifacts so I just need to know if I have let’s say a piece with 35% CV and maybe ER substat with 1 roll only and the other HP and it rolled HP is that not good anymore? Anyone helping on this is greatly appreciated. God I wish I could have someone review my damn account lol. To add- Above is based on DPS or sub dps. Not HP or DEF scaling units

I think what they meant on four lines is the artifacts have already four substat on acquisition. Which mean more chances on landing an upgrade to substats every forth level of the artifacts vs in three or lesser lines you need four level to acquire a substat not an upgrade.

I think the Akasha system is so inaccurate. For example my Raiden Shogun is top 48% and I have 57/123 CV’s, 301 ER, 254 EM. It’s also worth mentioning I’m at C6R5 and the damage I do with her is 200k-300k higher than the calculations they have my character at. The Akasha system relies way to heavily on basing your damage you do on CV’s. It’s very misinformation or bad calculations of the system. Really all the Akasha system is for is to flex artifact CV’s pieces that’s it.

You have to remember that they give you a team and weapon. You might be c6 r5 but in akasha your c2 r1 and have a specific team comp. It’s a cool metric and calculator and can sometimes be used for best builds, but yes it is not always accurate. So everyone they are comparing you too have the same refinement, same talents, same team. It’s strictly artifacts

@@sanadye1861 I could care a less about the whole constellations or refinements. I do know the system doesn’t account for constellations or refinements unless it’s damage based. Even aside from that I tried the calculation with the catch weapon and did some testing and still did upwards of 200k more damage than what the Akasha system had me at. It is a cool system but in other words it’s completely inaccurate and serves no purpose other than to flex the crit value of one’s artifacts. Which is cool to see btw because I have terrible luck but anyways it doesn’t account for EM or ER when estimating damage it’s pretty much all CR/CD calculations. Which is why I’m not a fan of it. In practice it’s “best builds” are not really best most of the time. Heck even my Ganyu’s depiction is off. Oh well though
