The reason Skizz kept dying to banshees is because banshees will roam to their target, so when Skizz was going long periods of time without moving, the banshee would roam to him and be on top of him or really close to him, when it would hunt, it would instantly kill him This is also the reason activity kept happening near Impulse and in the ghost room, the banshee was going back to the ghost room and roaming to Impulse

Banshees also seem to chose their targets based on some consistent algorithm. I've played 300+ games with just my one buddy and every single time there's a banshee, he is the target. It is very consistent. So Skizz is likely targeted over Imp when it's just the two of them.

Yeah it frustrated me, because they already ruled out the two other notorious transporting ghosts, but when the Ghost kept interacting with them and hunting outside the preferred room - they forgot Banshee still existed. When they use their abilities you cannot sit outside the safety of a crucifix unless you have really great reflexes.

As someone who is chronically depressed, full of paranoid ocd thoughts, and is stuck up in my room 24/7, I can put on your vods, sit down and crochet. I do have to say this for Skizz's sake. The Wilhelm scream was actually from a movie in the 1930s. A stunt man, who went under a stagecoach in one of the stunts, actually made that scream himself and it's become very popular since.

From what I can see it wasn't due to a stuntman. It was due to a voiceover for the movie Distant Drums and is attributed to a voice actor named Sheb Wooley. I was thinking of the movie Stagecoach because there is a a stunt where a stuntman actually goes underneath a stagecoach and lives. But there could possibly be a similar scene from the movie Distant Drums as well and I was just mistaking the two. Star Wars made that scream popular to use.

Hollow Knight is such an amazing game and I was thrilled to hear Grian enjoyed it. My kids are obsessed with the characters and the lore, even though they've only ever watched me play it. If you ever see this banshee can be confirmed a few ways. Only targeting 1 player until they die and banshee scream are the only certain tells. Things that make it likely to be a banshee when deciding between a couple ghosts is singing ghost events, singing int the parabolic and roaming to the target player. (Roaming is easy to tell, pick a room away from ghost room and set up motion sensor in doorways, if it Consistently triggers it’s likely roaming to the player, or does events on top of you away from the room)

Hey Impy, Just a tip for you to help you figure out banshees. They will roam to its target through out the investigation. Thus it can spawn ghost hunts on the person it roams to, which makes it one of the most difficult ghosts to deal with, as well as wraiths. When it kills its target, it selects a new target. The 2nd banshee game you played, notice how the ghost room was the kitchen, but it ghost hunted on the stairs next to where you was standing (at the front door). Its a good way to figure out the Banshee without having to use the Parabolic mic. Hope this helps bud! Thanks for the Upload ♥

I've had a game where we couldn't tell that it was a Shade either. It was super aggressive and didn't act like one but it had us in the house for forever trying to figure out what it was. I think in the end we went with Demon just to be wrong. This is just speculation but, I think each of the ghosts might have a sliding scale for how aggressive or passive they might be in any given match because I swear I've also had a pretty mild Demon before too.

Honestly I might be agreeing with you! I have strong memories of games they’ve gotten with odd ghosts, like a poltergeist they guessed as a shade since it did nothing for ages. And they’ve had a round with a demon they were convinced was a shade or spirit.

I wonder if they would add a couple of ghosts that contradict the current ones like hantu and goryo have one that makes the room warm/hot while the rest of the house is cool(?) and another that moves room frequently so you have to be quick to catch the evidence. Maybe have a ghost that avoids a “target” player or one that hunts fast when it’s quiet.🤔hmm food for thought.

In Edgefield at 1:25:30 a banshee can see you if you're behind the cabinet, which is why it went to you. Weird mechanic or just a bug.

You know what? That round you started at an hour 42-ish minutes, Skizz followed your Happy Birthday with the Wilhelm Scream, and right away jokingly called it 'a Banshee scream'. That should 100% be a Mimic easter egg. If it is mimicking a Banshee, and you're using the "Parabubblecul", you should have the same odds as with a regular Banshee's scream to instead get the Wilhelm scream while it is still mimicking the Banshee. It would be an impossibly short window of chance, and that's before the normal Banshee scream odds are considered. This would potentially make it the hardest achievement in the game to get if it were to legitimately be implemented. Sure, you'd know it was a Mimic, but that's not much different than an Obake's "fingies mark" being a 6 digit hand. The difference is it wouldn't be faking evidence like the orbs--it'd be imitating a really rare, unique trait. Poorly, but it would be a humorous attempt.

I agree wholeheartedly, I also have something that would make identifying a demon easier. Often times a demon will knock three times to mock the holy trinity. There should be a very rare chance for that to happen when listening to the ghost on the "parabudoctical". Just as a rare tell for the demon. what do you think?

I don't know if this has been said before..(I don't read comments) but you guys should check the stats screen at the end of the contracts so see amount of room changes, abilities used ect. It really helps with seeing how many times a banshee roams or yurie ability ect. I like to check to see if what I thought was happening was actually what was happening. Also, for when gem plays or just you guys in general, you should put the boards on in the custom settings and start learning the ghosts sanity draining abilities. You do loose about 10 or 15 % off your multiplier but it's not too bad for money still especially on insanity. Quite a few ghosts have sanity draining abilities and they can be hard to recognize.

Game recommendation: Metal Gear Rising Revengeance. Should probably be labeled mature if you do stream it, there is some in game swearing and the combat itself. I recommend starting on normal, there are 5 difficulties total (3 unlocked at beginning): Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, and Revengeance Many memes have been inspired by this game, its janky in all the right places (except sam dlc's parry and defensive offensive), and is overall a masterpiece I doubt you'll see this but would love to see you play if you do. Also: God Tier Soundtrack(s), in my opinion only beaten by DOOM's soundtracks and maybe DMCV's soundtracks
